Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose CSE because it is demanded course in market.Ratio of faculty and student is good. I dont know exact but its around 30:1 All the faculty are PhD holders.Teaching method involves much self study .we have 1 mid term and 1 sem term for one semester.It is a relative grading system so we cannot estimate pass and fail of a student.

Class Size : 136Course Fees : INR 66660 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am still in 1st year of Btech so i dont have any internship experience . I heard from seniors that many companies like Oracle,pricewater coopers,barclays will offer interns to students of software side with post like web developer,app developer.

Placement Experience :

After 5th semester student is eligible to get campus placements .Companies like Microsoft ,filpkart ,phonepe ,barclays ,BNY Mellon, in software side approach to our college .For CSE the highest package is 56 lakh last year and average of 25 lakh.We get arount 1100 job offers every year. Placement percentage is different for different branches for CSE it is 93.13%.MY plans are to get placed in good job within our country.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

FEE structure is for Btech students tuition fee is 1 lakh and have fee waiver for respective castes and income state of a family.Other fees are around 27000 for all castes .I am getting a FEE waiver of 66.66% in tutition fee as my family income is below 5 lakh per annum.

Campus Life :

We have Tech fest CONCETTO in month of October,Geo Mining fest KHANAN inOctober, Cultural fest SRIJAN in December and sports fest PARAKRAM in March. We get books form our library and Availabiity of journals and books are too good .Classroom is quiet good and peace place with no disturbance .We have Volleyball ,cricket ,swimming ,badminton ,hockey ,squash and many more clubs .We have 2 dance clubs 1 singing club,drama club,literature club and many technical clubs. .We have eatra curricular activities like Yoga , NSO,NSS.

Hostel Facilities :

A hostel room is allowted for 2 girls .and the provide 2 beds ,2 study tables , 1 fan , 2 lights and cupboards.Meal is Good have different types of varities but still mother's food is great .Registration process involves Biometric process .I stay in room which is within the college campus .

Hostel Fee : INR 40256 per year

Admission :

Admission is taken on bases of JEE ADVANCED rank For CSE in my college the eligibility for general boys to get rank below around 3000,for girls it is 6400.and have extra reservations. i got reservation benefit of OBC category I got around 7500 as i am OBC female ,i am admitted in this college. Everything is good in JOSAA Allocation . it is very convenient to apply online without visiting college.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Placement Experience:

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
