Course Curriculum Overview :

The course consisted of my favorite topics and i have a interest in mathematics in general. The faculty student ratio is very good in our department and is roughly equal to 1:20. All the faculty are highly qualified professors who are appointed after rigorous screening. The term exams are very timely and very tough to pass.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 126000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some of the companies that offered internship opportunities in our college are Atlassian, Microsoft, Oracle, zepto, Axtria, Salesforce and many more. The stipend is very variable and ranges from 40k per month to 1.6l per month

Placement Experience :

The 4-year programme students are elegible for placements in their 7th semester. The number of companies visited and number of offers made The exact number is unknown to me. The higheset package offered is around 51LPA. My plans after getting a degree is to find a suitable job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very good compared to other colleges in India. And a decent amount of scholarships are provided to assist the student financially. Campus jobs are very good and a percentage of students are placed every year.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Srijan conducted in February. The tech fest is Concetto conducted in October. The library is the second largest in Asia and almost all necessary books and journals can be found. The classrooms are equipped with state of the art equipment and well maintained. There are multiple grounds for over 20 different sports played. Groups or clubs run by students include Kartavya, Cyberlabs, MicDrop

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is equipped with the basic amenities. The mess has tasty food all week round. The registration process for the hostel is simple enough and it is quite affordable with their low cost of living.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was smooth. We took JEE advanced and secured a good rank to get into the college. The admission process is great and no improvement is needed. The reservation was EWS and it was appriciated.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market. The avg for my branch i.e production and industrial engineering was 8.26 lpa . Avg for cs was 20.24 lpa and the highest package offered was 82 lpa . Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
