I disliked the location dhanbad which actually does not have enough connection via train and flight
Faculties are something I really hate. Sometimes i think to kidnap their kids but nvm

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is integrated mtech in mathematics and computing. A good combination of computer science with mathematics such as linear algebra, number theory, probability and statistics, and a lot of subjects including industrial and applied maths.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution Fee is 100000 for general category. I am not sure for the reserved categories. But i think its pretty less than this. Sometimes you dont even have to pay any of the tution fee and government gives you some monthly allowance (money)

Campus Life :

College life is the best part. One can join many clubs. They are basically of three types tecnical, cultural and sports clubs. You get to participate in inter IIT in different competitions. It is basically awesome

Hostel Facilities :

The new hostel is very good. Has the space to accommodate 2000 students comfortably. Rooms are big enough to accommodate 2 people easily. Mess food is good. You can have 3 meals a day. Also some tea and snaks in the evening too.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

Took JEE Advanced 2021. Cleard in first attempt with AIR 4127 general category. Prepared from resonance/reliable kota. Admission was smooth. Campus is fine. Reservation gives you a chance to get admission even with a lower rank

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Journey of IIT Dhanbad

Placement Experience:

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
