Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose it because I am interested in mechanical Engineering. There are 30 students in one batch. The faculties are good. Currently, the institute running at the Temporary campus at GEC.

Class Size : 32Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience :

All branch's placements are good that is above 80%. Except civil there are placement percentage is 60. There are 150 companies coming for campus hiring. The student is eligible in the 7th and 8th semesters for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Fees structure will be the same for all students but there are some criteria for scholarships depend on parents income. If income is above 5 lakh then full fees. If between 1 to 5, the fee will be 1/3 of the full fees, and if less than 1 lakh then full institute fees are refundable.

Campus Life :

Currently, NIT Goa running at a temporary campus at GEC Goa. Books are provided by the library itself. Its own campus is ready and will be inaugurated in December and from January the new campus will start. The new campus is very good there are single rooms in a hostel for each student.

Admission :

We have to qualify for the jee exams and the jee exams conducted by NTA. And the percentage in the 12th should be above 75 percent. The maximum rank in jee will be 300000 till the student can get admission. The highest package is 45lpa and the average package is 9lpa.

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Friendly Faculty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after reaching in the last year that is 7th semester, various companies visit for placement, including Samsung, Adobe, Nvidia, etc. The average package lies around 12LPA and highest at 25LPA, and last year around 200 offers were given across all branches. For circuital branch the placement percentage is around 90+ and lower for non circuital branches. Many students opt for higher studies after completing the course

BITS Pilani - It's truly magic ?

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of my college is great. The complanies that recruit from my college are from tech, core and finance. My college is a Tier 1 college so the placements are also in the upper strata. The overall avg package of campus is around 15 lakhs and avg package of CS department reaches 30 lakhs. 90% of the batch gets placed and the rest of the students either go for higher studies or start their own startup.
