Course Curriculum Overview :

The best part of this course is its applied mathematics means you have many free electives so you have a good opportunity to take courses from outside. Faculties are very experts in their field. There is a semester system. Each semester you have quizzes then end sem.

Class Size : 44Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is a project in m.sc of 21 credits in which you learn how to read research papers and how to write in your own language. The project makes you ready for p.hd if want to go for p.hd. there are two presentations i.e mid-term presentation and the end presentation.

Placement Experience :

The placement is very good. For in m.sc mathematics highest package of 2500000. And the lowest package is 600000. In our class, 30 students out of 44 got placed. Thats why I think after IIT Guwahati for m.sc placement is IIT mandi best.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Firstly the fees for M.sc in IIT Mandi are very good as compared to other IITs. IIT Mandi provides scholarships as well as loans to those needed hostel facilities are very good. I agree that IIT mandi increase the fees from the previous year

Campus Life :

There are many clubs which are run by students like Gymkhana, dance club, and EXCODIA. you have a good opportunity to participate in these groups. Like organised event makes you a team head. Also, they provide a certificate.

Hostel Facilities :

Firstly its necessary to take room in hostel. Hostel facilities are very good. Even i say infrastructure of new iit is better then old iit. The mess food is ok. There are good canteens. You can't take room on rent

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

You have a bachelor's degree with 55%. for sc st 5% relaxation i.e they only need 50%. In September IIT JAM form was released. Fess is around 1400 and for sc st it's only 750. The problem with exams is that exams occur in high cities not like in any local city.

JOIN HPU Campus (pleasant /Peaceful environment) for Academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The facility of Biotechnology and the curriculum are very Good. The curriculum is okay but teaching methods need so improvement as teaching is not updated as per advancement in technology. Timing of exams is on appropriate time i.e. on half yearly based.

Himachal Pradesh University- my second home

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally dont find curriculum effective. No relevance with day to day life. We are just fighting with theorems everyday without even knowing their application and teachers are also not delivering them with the application part. Curriculum should be more practical and applied. Teaching methods are also traditional chalk and talk method .... Every classroom is equipped with smartboard but they are just showpiece no one is using them.

Nit Hamirpur review

Placement Experience:

Placement in our used to be good but now average package is something between 6to 7 lakh. Generally students can apply for in their final year . Students must have 7.5 cgpa to sit in placements .During NIT Hamirpur Placement 2023, top companies like CRED, Stryker Corporation, Philips, etc. visited the campus for recruitment purposes.Highest package was of INR 173 LPA while the average package stood at INR 7.54 LPA. a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 students . I am going mtech after btech with a better college after clearly gate.

Overall Maharaja university is great.

Placement Experience:

There were lot of opportunities for the students given by university. Lot of placement opportunities they provide in different fields . Like different pharmaceutical companies like acne , tuition centers can take the students above 90% marks and based on their interview. Highest package is 4lpa and lowest package is 2.5LPA.

Best college with best view

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good. This time Mathematics department of IIT Mandi got the highest placement among all the IITs. The average package seemed to be 10 lakhs. Even mine is 11.5 lpa CTC as a project engineer trainee.

I chose this course because of my interest. 4 Faculty members of which one is a professor and 3 are assistant professors with excellent experience all are Ph.D. Holders with Gate and Net Qualified. Term exams are held after each semester and the passing criteria for each exam are 50% it's a 4-semester course within 2 years.

M.Sc in NIT HAMIRPUR

Placement Experience:

Average placement. Some got as good as 36 lpa . But most of them are in around 4 to 10 lpa. Recruitment cell is active. They are sensitive too. Coaching institutions , adobe, isro and several it companies like cognizant etc. are good visitors. No idea about percentage of students placed. I have been enrolled in PHD at iit ism dhanbad.
