Infrastructure is very good. Weather is amazing there. Nature is at its fullest.
Campus life is amazing. There are many clubs and societies where you can explore.

Weather in winter at IIT is always so chilled.
Located in hilly region of Himachal Pradesh which may not suit for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a good course. Also, if you do this from any prestigious institute, it will help you in both placements as well as the teachers here are so great. They are kind of masters in their subjects. The student-teacher ratio is also very good. They are all Ph.D.qualified.

Class Size : 42Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students of Msc. can get placement in the corporate sector as well as in the teaching field ( i.e. in schools, and teaching institutions ). This year there is a recession in the USA so the number of students getting placed in the corporate sector is quite less than the students who got placed in the teaching field but there are sufficiently large numbers of students who got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 15000. The course fee is not that much as it is a government university so the price of everything is normal. If you belong to an economically weaker section then you can also get a scholarship from the institute of approx 10,000 Rs. per semester.

Campus Life :

IIT Mandi offers a great social life for its students. There are numerous student clubs, organizations, and cultural events that provide opportunities for students to engage in extracurricular activities and pursue their interests. There is a huge library with all books and Journals available.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel at IIT usually has rooms shared by two or more students. Hostels have common areas where students can relax, socialize and interact with each other. Hostels generally have internet connectivity, allowing students to access online resources.

Hostel Fee : INR 14000 per year

Admission :

I have given IIT-JAM exam for taking admission to IIT for an MSc. Applied mathematics. It is the exam taken by IIT in the month of February. Then they will release the cut-off for all categories (general as well as reserved). Then you can take admission according to the marks given in the list if your marks fall in that category.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The facility of Biotechnology and the curriculum are very Good. The curriculum is okay but teaching methods need so improvement as teaching is not updated as per advancement in technology. Timing of exams is on appropriate time i.e. on half yearly based.

Himachal Pradesh University- my second home

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally dont find curriculum effective. No relevance with day to day life. We are just fighting with theorems everyday without even knowing their application and teachers are also not delivering them with the application part. Curriculum should be more practical and applied. Teaching methods are also traditional chalk and talk method .... Every classroom is equipped with smartboard but they are just showpiece no one is using them.

Nit Hamirpur review

Placement Experience:

Placement in our used to be good but now average package is something between 6to 7 lakh. Generally students can apply for in their final year . Students must have 7.5 cgpa to sit in placements .During NIT Hamirpur Placement 2023, top companies like CRED, Stryker Corporation, Philips, etc. visited the campus for recruitment purposes.Highest package was of INR 173 LPA while the average package stood at INR 7.54 LPA. a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 students . I am going mtech after btech with a better college after clearly gate.

Overall Maharaja university is great.

Placement Experience:

There were lot of opportunities for the students given by university. Lot of placement opportunities they provide in different fields . Like different pharmaceutical companies like acne , tuition centers can take the students above 90% marks and based on their interview. Highest package is 4lpa and lowest package is 2.5LPA.

Best college with best view

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good. This time Mathematics department of IIT Mandi got the highest placement among all the IITs. The average package seemed to be 10 lakhs. Even mine is 11.5 lpa CTC as a project engineer trainee.

I chose this course because of my interest. 4 Faculty members of which one is a professor and 3 are assistant professors with excellent experience all are Ph.D. Holders with Gate and Net Qualified. Term exams are held after each semester and the passing criteria for each exam are 50% it's a 4-semester course within 2 years.

Placement Experience:

Average placement. Some got as good as 36 lpa . But most of them are in around 4 to 10 lpa. Recruitment cell is active. They are sensitive too. Coaching institutions , adobe, isro and several it companies like cognizant etc. are good visitors. No idea about percentage of students placed. I have been enrolled in PHD at iit ism dhanbad.
