Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are great here, from the second semester onwards we have electives to choose from. And in the third and fourth semesters we have projects also for which we will have the option to choose our guide. Exam pattern: quiz 1, quiz 2 and end sem.

Class Size : 42Course Fees : INR 96000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We have different options, like 2 months and 6 months. All through CnPC ( CAREER AND PLACEMENT CELL). I have done an internship in Doubtnut with 25k per month. My classmate's done internships in YUM And companies like Toppr.

Placement Experience :

We have very good placement options. our CnPC cell members work very hard to get companies on campus. Almost everyone who wanted placement was placed in my batch. Others wanted to pursue higher studies. So many companies come here like Amazon, paytm, IBM, Allen, Aakash, fiitjee, Axtria, etc. Around 80-90 per cent of students get placed on avg till the completion of the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure when compared with other IITs is less, there isn't much of a fee hike. There is an option to get a scholarship. There are multiple actually. One of them is MCM which is merit cum means scholarship. Also About placement, there are good options for students in this course. I got placed in 3rd semester only as a data analyst.

Campus Life :

College life is awesome. You'll love this place. College fests: Exodia, ranneeti etc. Exodia is like normal college fests where you'll have guest's performing. Ranneeti is a sports fest. The library is also good here. There are two camps, north and south. Both have a library. The classrooms are great. The sports facilities are awesome.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are very good actually, even though this is a very cold place, hostels are made in such a way that the inside temperature remains normal. Meals are ok type. You'll have to pay the mess and hostel fees in advance at the starting of the semester. I was also in the hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

I got in through IIT JAM, exam fee 1500 for males, 750 for females. All candidates with maths in their 12th are eligible, I have done bachelor's in mathematics, but anyone can get in with any bachelor's degree which has mathematics as one of the subjects. Genral B.Sc will also do.

JOIN HPU Campus (pleasant /Peaceful environment) for Academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The facility of Biotechnology and the curriculum are very Good. The curriculum is okay but teaching methods need so improvement as teaching is not updated as per advancement in technology. Timing of exams is on appropriate time i.e. on half yearly based.

Himachal Pradesh University- my second home

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally dont find curriculum effective. No relevance with day to day life. We are just fighting with theorems everyday without even knowing their application and teachers are also not delivering them with the application part. Curriculum should be more practical and applied. Teaching methods are also traditional chalk and talk method .... Every classroom is equipped with smartboard but they are just showpiece no one is using them.

Nit Hamirpur review

Placement Experience:

Placement in our used to be good but now average package is something between 6to 7 lakh. Generally students can apply for in their final year . Students must have 7.5 cgpa to sit in placements .During NIT Hamirpur Placement 2023, top companies like CRED, Stryker Corporation, Philips, etc. visited the campus for recruitment purposes.Highest package was of INR 173 LPA while the average package stood at INR 7.54 LPA. a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 students . I am going mtech after btech with a better college after clearly gate.

Overall Maharaja university is great.

Placement Experience:

There were lot of opportunities for the students given by university. Lot of placement opportunities they provide in different fields . Like different pharmaceutical companies like acne , tuition centers can take the students above 90% marks and based on their interview. Highest package is 4lpa and lowest package is 2.5LPA.

Best college with best view

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good. This time Mathematics department of IIT Mandi got the highest placement among all the IITs. The average package seemed to be 10 lakhs. Even mine is 11.5 lpa CTC as a project engineer trainee.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest. 4 Faculty members of which one is a professor and 3 are assistant professors with excellent experience all are Ph.D. Holders with Gate and Net Qualified. Term exams are held after each semester and the passing criteria for each exam are 50% it's a 4-semester course within 2 years.

Placement Experience:

Average placement. Some got as good as 36 lpa . But most of them are in around 4 to 10 lpa. Recruitment cell is active. They are sensitive too. Coaching institutions , adobe, isro and several it companies like cognizant etc. are good visitors. No idea about percentage of students placed. I have been enrolled in PHD at iit ism dhanbad.
