Course Curriculum Overview :
I have had a very much interest in architecture since the start of my 11th class so I have joined B.arch and the Student ratio is very bad in this course we have 8 girls in the class of 38. There are 2 exams in 1-semester Midterm and end-term and they are very much easy compared to B tech exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Many Company visit for campus internships like Microsoft, Adobe, Jaguar etc with a very good stipend of 2-3 lakh per month most internships are in tech companies on on-campus internships are much harder than placements.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very good at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee this year's average package was 22.5 lakh and the highest was 3.1cr and the percentage was 89% of students got the placement. In the 4th year 1 semester, you get the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We need to pay per semester including hostel fees and mess fees and on campus there are many scholarships for toppers of campus in every branch. there is also a merit scholarship and also there is also a scholarship for EWS.
Campus Life :
Fest is just amazing IIT Roorkee Named Thomson is the biggest cultural fest of north India and there is also a tech fest name Cognisance it is also done on a big scale many big industrialists also come.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very good not good as compared to private collages we have allowed double sharing rooms with sufficient space for two students. 1st year goes to Rajendra Bhawan then in 2nd-year hostels change there are 9 hostels 2 for girls and 7 for boys.
Admission :
You need to clear Jee mains and advance to get admission in B.Arch. If your rank is a little bit bad then you can get b.arch. It is a very time taking the course. You can get reservation benefits if you have any kind of reservation. You can see a huge difference in fees also. The admission process is very easy but the exam is too hard.
