Remarks :

We all know that how imortant is to be part of IIT for engineering student. Our main goal is to qualify GATE to be part of our favourite college and every student first priority is IIT. My preference was also to be part of IIT as in my research I found that IIT provides on of the best CSE program. IIT Goa has collaboration with national and international university, the faculties of the college are very popular for their research and teaching and the IIT Goa also has good placement record. According to ,u preferences and choice IIT Goa was best option for me. Student who wanted to be part of IIt Goa must clear GATE exam and must secure a minimum of 55% marks in bachelors degree of concerned department. After clearing the GATE exam we have to register for COAP counselling to secure the seat for desired college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college is designed to impart to students with basic fundamentals and the importance of technology in the modern world and its impact on human and industrial growth. the curriculum is divided into four semesters. Every student has to meet certain academic criteria in every semester like the number of lectures attended, no attendance, the performance of students in class and participation in research activity, etc. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for international competitions and to develop industrial leadership skills.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college placement committee helps us during the internship program. After completing the first year we are eligible for an internship. Around 25+ companies visited our campus for the internship programs. The stipend for the internship starts from Rs. 25000/- to Rs. 90000/-. The curriculum standards of the college are so good that few of the students receive pre-placement offers during the internship program.

Placement Experience :

IIT Goa provides the best placement as per the standards of IITs. The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement committee is very hardworking and supportive they provide us with the list of the participating companies for placement so that we can get prepare and choose the companies according to our interests. The placement committee members guide us for interviews and help us throughout the placement rounds. The highest package for our batch went up to 35 LPA and the average package was around 19.50 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Paytm, Reliance, KPMG, Bosch, ABB, VMWare, Infosys, Wipro visited the campus during the placement drive of the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides internships for merit students under the Merit Cum Means scholarship program. Scholarship for SC/ST/PWD students is also available. You can also opt for an education loan and the admission department help and guides you through the admission process. Campus Life :

The college campus life of IIT Goa is very good. The seniors are quite friendly. The colleges also comprise various students clubs like sports clubs, cultural clubs, art and drama club. The college celebrates Holi on campus. The library of the college is big and all the books from around the world of various authors are available in the library. The sports facility is also available on the campus like football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, etc keeps students physically engaging in the various sports activities.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are big and spacious. The rooms are available in double and single sharing according to your program. The rooms are provided with beds, study tables and cupboards for every student. The hostel also provides 24x7 high-speed WiFi connectivity. The food of the mess is good and healthy. The menu is decided by the hostel management and the hostel management is represented by the hostel student. The hostel provides all kinds of modern facilities for students.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is experienced. the faculty are of PhD level and they are very knowledgable in their respective fields. Students can easily approach faculties to clear their doubts and the faculty is also ready to help and guide us.

Review - A helping hand

Placement Experience:

After 2nd semester students are applicable for placements. Companies visiting are very much it is not countable also and they will provide an highest package of 40 lakh also and minimum to 5 lakh also. Percentage of students getting placed is about 95-100% in the worst case because of COVID otherwise it is 100%. My plans after getting degree is to continue the job that I will get through campus placement

My life at NIT Nagaland

Placement Experience:

The college has a solid placement record, and the placement cell is competent and experienced. As a result, we won't have any issues during our placement program. About 25 firms came to our campus to look for employees. Companies such as Cognizant, Vedanta, L&T, Toppers, Mphasis, and others visited our campus during the practice rounds and real placement round. Our batch's maximum package was 11.20 LPA.

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa is growing IIT and for that, the college placement cell is putting lots of effort for students to get placed. The college was able to reach a 95% of placement record and why 95% because some students in our batch did not take part in the placement drive. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Paytm, Reliance, KPMG, Bosch, ABB, VMWare are a few companies that took part in the placement drives. The highest package for our batch was 35 LPA and the average package was around 19 LPA. The placement record of IIT Goa also proves that IITs are one of the best institutes regarding placement.

Placement Experience:

NCPOR provides training / dissertation opportunity to graduate and post graduate students for the period of three to six months (summer and winter session) in the field of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences. The students can research on a specific topic or with Scientist at NCPOR.It is compulsory for each student, to submit a copy of his / her project work carried out at NCPOR in the form of project report.

The Best Private Engg. College in India

Remarks:

College is pretty good, it has a good culture and environment as there are no reservations and everyone has come because they are meritorious. But the fees are pretty high for a middle-class background person to afford. Although if one really passionate about engineering or at least serious about his future can make it worthy.
