Remarks :

College management nowadays is imposing a more strict environment because of which earlier there was a revolution by the students Many of them are very co-operative with the students but there are always exceptions !!Also the new Director is more interest

Entrance Preview :

I gave IIT-Jee mains, advanced , BITSAT, VITT was one of the most reputed colleges and was being offered the course of my choice Hence BITS !!Admission process is completely online which is a great relief.

Internships Opportunities :

This is my 2nd year after which we'll be going for a PS (practice school) in various companies that have associated with BITS Most of them do not offer stipend but still it will be a great experience I guess .

Placement Experience :

To be honest in goa only CS students get good opportunities while the other streams are often being overlooked.

College Events :

As in every college there is tech fest (QUARK), cult fest(WAVES), sports fest(SPREE), inter hostel competitions, various other performances by the diff clubs The first three fests are national and you might know about them also these are among the fastest growing fests in India .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SBI-scholar loan offered by the campus branch of SBIMCN-Merit cum Need is offered by the institute to a number of students based on the family income and their performance in academicsAlso the 9-pointers are rewarded by scholarships.

Campus Life :

Gender Ratio is very less to about 7:2 Extracurricular activities are always encouraged not only by the institutes but also by the seniors through various clubs and departments Bitsian life is quite a good example of unity in diversity and the people here are very chilled out (LITE) Cultural societies have been formed such as the telugu samidhi, maharashtra madal , ppl from rajasthan etc Politics - not much compared to other institutesEconomis status is also not much considered here.

Hostel Facilities :

Faculties here are very enthusiastic in building an atmosphere for encouraging. Many of them have completed their PhD or are pursuing while teaching.

Alumni/Alumna :

Not much but yeah BITS alumni is not only known in India but all over the world Wherever they are, they are ready to help each other in any way possible After all we are "BITSian for Life" .

After 2nd semester students are applicable for placements. Companies visiting are very much it is not countable also and they will provide an highest package of 40 lakh also and minimum to 5 lakh also. Percentage of students getting placed is about 95-100% in the worst case because of COVID otherwise it is 100%. My plans after getting degree is to continue the job that I will get through campus placement

Placement Experience:

The college has a solid placement record, and the placement cell is competent and experienced. As a result, we won't have any issues during our placement program. About 25 firms came to our campus to look for employees. Companies such as Cognizant, Vedanta, L&T, Toppers, Mphasis, and others visited our campus during the practice rounds and real placement round. Our batch's maximum package was 11.20 LPA.

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa is growing IIT and for that, the college placement cell is putting lots of effort for students to get placed. The college was able to reach a 95% of placement record and why 95% because some students in our batch did not take part in the placement drive. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Paytm, Reliance, KPMG, Bosch, ABB, VMWare are a few companies that took part in the placement drives. The highest package for our batch was 35 LPA and the average package was around 19 LPA. The placement record of IIT Goa also proves that IITs are one of the best institutes regarding placement.

Remarks:

College is pretty good, it has a good culture and environment as there are no reservations and everyone has come because they are meritorious. But the fees are pretty high for a middle-class background person to afford. Although if one really passionate about engineering or at least serious about his future can make it worthy.

Remarks:

The hostel and food facilities should be improved especially for foreign origin students. Also transport system needs to improved as the campus is a bit far away from the city.Labs and other infrastructure is the need of the hour for our department.
