Remarks :

I am an average student and I just secure 50% marks in my B. Tech and I were looking to be part of IIT college and IIT Goa topped the list of my research as it is a fast-growing new IIT with a great placement record and as well as under my budget. So I decided to go for IIT Goa. The admission is based on the GATE score and we have to register for COAP for the counseling process to secure admission into IITs, NITs, and other participating institutes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the program matches the standard of IIT. The curriculum is of the highest industrial standards. The curriculum follows a credit system in which credits are allotted depending upon the number of lectures, tutorials, and laboratory hours per week.

Class Size : 35Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship program is available for students but students who are involved in some kind of research work can skip internships. The internship stipend varies from company to company but most of the time stipend is not available. But the plus point is some students receive pre-placement offers.

Placement Experience :

IIT Goa is growing IIT and for that, the college placement cell is putting lots of effort for students to get placed. The college was able to reach a 95% of placement record and why 95% because some students in our batch did not take part in the placement drive. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Paytm, Reliance, KPMG, Bosch, ABB, VMWare are a few companies that took part in the placement drives. The highest package for our batch was 35 LPA and the average package was around 19 LPA. The placement record of IIT Goa also proves that IITs are one of the best institutes regarding placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I was not lucky enough to receive a scholarship so I have to pay my fee by myself. But the college offers scholarships to merit students and underprivileged students. The college provides scholarships through various programs like Merit Cum Means Scholarship and Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for Top Class Education for SC/ST students. Campus Life :

The campus life of IIT Goa is very vibrant. As at the moment, the college is operating from a temporary campus so there are some limitations but those limitation does not affect the campus life. There are many sports activities organized by the college like football competition, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis which keep students active in sports. The library is not too big because of the temporary campus but there are lots of knowledgeable books from all kinds of authors. I have spent one of the best times in IIT Goa.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is currently operating from a temporary campus. There are 3 boys and 1 girls hostels. Rooms are big enough and rooms are available on sharing basis. The food quality of the mess is very good and the food menu is full of different kinds of variety. The students are provided with all the basic facilities and high-speed internet connectivity is also available.

Hostel Fee : INR 7000 per year

Faculty :

AS the college is new but the college does not compromise with the quality of teachers. The faculty is excellent and many faculties have industrial exposure in their field. They are very experienced and knowledgeable and guide students in a friendly manner throughout the academic tenure and regular visit of guest faculty is like adding the cherry on the cake. I am really thankful to the faculty of my program as they have really helped me out to bring the best out of me and whatever I am today the all credit goes to IIT Goa.

IIT Goa Review

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa is a newer IIT, but the college places a strong emphasis on placement. The college placement adheres to all guidelines and standards, and the quality is comparable to that of the IITs. The college placement committee is very important because it is fully responsible for inviting companies for placement and is successful in inviting good companies to campus. Our batch's highest salary package was around 35 LPA, and the average salary package was around 12 LPA. During the placement drive, over 75 companies came to our campus.

Placement Experience:

In aspects of enrollment quality and packages, India's IITs are very good. IIT Goa is of the same caliber as IIT Delhi, and it offers some of the best recruitment opportunities in India. The college has a track history of 100% placement. The highest selection offer is approximately 47 LPA, and the average earnings package is approximately 18 LPA. The placement committee is constantly working to improve college placement standards.

My life at NIT Nagaland

Placement Experience:

The college has a solid placement record, and the placement cell is competent and experienced. As a result, we won't have any issues during our placement program. About 25 firms came to our campus to look for employees. Companies such as Cognizant, Vedanta, L&T, Toppers, Mphasis, and others visited our campus during the practice rounds and real placement round. Our batch's maximum package was 11.20 LPA.

NCPOR provides training / dissertation opportunity to graduate and post graduate students for the period of three to six months (summer and winter session) in the field of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences. The students can research on a specific topic or with Scientist at NCPOR.It is compulsory for each student, to submit a copy of his / her project work carried out at NCPOR in the form of project report.

The Best Private Engg. College in India

Remarks:

College is pretty good, it has a good culture and environment as there are no reservations and everyone has come because they are meritorious. But the fees are pretty high for a middle-class background person to afford. Although if one really passionate about engineering or at least serious about his future can make it worthy.

Remarks:
