Remarks :

Admission process is through two exams one is gate and other is bits hd exam which is conducted by bits itself. For gate cutoff is around 50 and for bits hd exam cutoff is around 105. You can find application form in bits site only and application form will cost around 1500 rs for boys. There is no reservation benefits which is a good thing they treat every student equally. It will be good if they will decrease the fee amount which is very much as compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I always wanted to have a deep knowledge about subjects and want to learn new things. If I talk about faculty, faculty is very good they are highly qualified in their fields and give equal importance to each and every student. Exams are conducted in equal intervals and there may be some quizzes in between of exams also. Pattern of exams is good and it is open book most of the time but it is quite difficult, if you don't have the practical knowledge .

Class Size : 44Course Fees : INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

About 400-500 companies are there for internship which can provide stipend from 10000 to 150000 also depending upon your skill level and interest. Projects are mostly based on your study only, what you studied in your course and what are skills and software knowledge you have according to that they will choose according to their requirements

Placement Experience :

After 2nd semester students are applicable for placements. Companies visiting are very much it is not countable also and they will provide an highest package of 40 lakh also and minimum to 5 lakh also. Percentage of students getting placed is about 95-100% in the worst case because of COVID otherwise it is 100%. My plans after getting degree is to continue the job that I will get through campus placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is an 1.5% fee hike policy in every year. There is various number of scholarships will be provided by college through which you can avail good amount of money and which is very helpful also. And if we talk about stipend it is for ME students only.

Campus Life :

Large no. of fest is conducted in bits which includes game spree, cricket championship etc. in 2-3 months gap. There is a big library where you can find any book that you want and you can issue it for 15 days also or if you want to study there only you can spend your time in library also

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided in Room are: 1. Wardrobe 2. Rack for keeping personal things. 3. Beddings (paid ) 4. Mug and Bucket (paid) Etc And the quality of room is very good clean and tidy daily cleaning is done by floor workers. Toilet s and bathroom is also very good both western and Indian toilets are available . Meal is perfect you can get veg and non veg both. There is an proper breakfast include milk, egg, bread, omlette etc. with one dish after that proper lunch and dinner will be provided in the respective timeline. Registration is to be done by hostel in-charge only you don't need to do anything There is not an option of opting PG. Whoever take admission he/she has to stay in hostel only

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa is a newer IIT, but the college places a strong emphasis on placement. The college placement adheres to all guidelines and standards, and the quality is comparable to that of the IITs. The college placement committee is very important because it is fully responsible for inviting companies for placement and is successful in inviting good companies to campus. Our batch's highest salary package was around 35 LPA, and the average salary package was around 12 LPA. During the placement drive, over 75 companies came to our campus.

The college placement records are very good. IIT Goa provides the placement as per the standards of IITs. The placement cell of the college is very professional and cooperative they not only provide us with the list of companies but they also help us and guide us in every round during the placement tenure. The highest placement package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was around 19.50 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Paytm, Reliance, KPMG, Bosch, ABB, VMWare, Infosys, Wipro, Mercedes Benz, etc participated in the placement drive of the campus.

The Best Private Engg. College in India

Remarks:

College is pretty good, it has a good culture and environment as there are no reservations and everyone has come because they are meritorious. But the fees are pretty high for a middle-class background person to afford. Although if one really passionate about engineering or at least serious about his future can make it worthy.
