Remarks :

I chose B.Tech. in CSE as it was my interest since class 11th. To get into NIT was somehow like a victory. I passed the mains exams administered by the Central Board. Since then, online counselling has begun, and I have chosen universities based on my rank, so I have a seat at this college. I arrived at the college after receiving confirmation of my seat assignment.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is very beneficial to study CSE in NIT because the faculty provides more information about the course. They assist in locating more internships off campus and in developing the subject. They are well competent and support us by delivering mini projects and presentations, among other things. Also, the professors at NIT Goa are quite helpful in guiding students, assisting with projects, and assisting us by hosting seminars with excellent speakers. They are highly qualified in their field of teaching, and they guide and encourage students.

Course Fees : INR 700000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements are excellent. Out of ten people, nine will almost certainly be placed, while the remaining one will not be able to attend owing to their decision to pursue higher education or pursue an M.Tech. Google arrived for the placements lately and chose the students they wanted.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is 35,000/- per semester which makes it pretty feasible for the students. Moreover, a slight deduction is offered to the reserved category. Apart from that, we have a central government scholarship programme called central sector scholarship for sc/st students, as well as a credit facility.

Campus Life :

For every game, we will have sports provided by the physical education department faculty for every semester. We will be transported to the inter nit sports meet for every game. Pet also supports playing every game because we have enough ground to play every game.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is excellent for both girls and boys; we have distinct hostels for both females and males, and hostels are different for each year's students. They serve food in the mess, which is adequate but not exceptional; however, we might have better cuisine than this.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester you are eligible for placements by the end of 8th semester companies will be approaching college and jobs will be offered Different companies approach and they take interviews according to how many students enrolled for their company For me different companies like ultra tech and deep builders and assmass construction approached and offered of average of 20 to 25,000 salary as a beginner Highest average package would be around 35,000 and lowest is around 15,000 Around 70 to 85% students gets placement. Rest of the students mostly go for their own business or different private companies My plan after the degree is to continue with my dad's business which is road work/ pwd contractor

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Short and better review of IIT Goa

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa offers campus placements to its students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study, i.e., in the 7th or 8th semester. Several reputed companies visit IIT Goa for campus placements, including Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Adani Power, etc. Higher placements offer is of 1.2cr and average placement offers are16-25 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed during campus placements at IIT Goa is quite high, with around 90% of students getting placed every year. The remaining students generally opt for higher studies or pursue entrepreneurship. In case no campus placement is offered, students can explore other options for employability, such as applying for jobs through job portals, professional networking sites, or by directly contacting companies. They can also consider pursuing higher education or research in their field of interest or starting their own business.

Remarks:

My college has the best infrastructure to provide for its students with workshops, number of laboratories each meant for seperate branches to conduct experiments, community centres, auditoriums, well equiped library and at last the atmosphere that makes me feel that this is the best institution I have ever went to.
