Remarks :

The process was smooth, it was based on the 10+2 merits. However, the university conducts an entrance test for admission in UG and PG courses. minimum 75% is needed on average(for 10+2) and 60% at the secondary level.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is quite advance and it provides many recent developments in both micro and macro issues the faculty also helps us regularly and they interact with us and try to solve our every doubt. Faculties are well qualified and they also teach many advanced topics along with the curriculum which places the departments a bit ahead of other UG offering institutes. The exams are helpful frequently and the difficulty level differs from topic to topic. On a whole, the student must have good basic, intermediate and supplementary knowledge to score exceptional on paper.

Placement Experience :

There are regularities in our Placement cell. PG students are most likely to get placement after the completion of the course. The companies' list can be viewed on the website. I, personally don't have a hurried placement interest

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are quite reasonable and lower (4200/- per annum). Now, during the covid time, the fees are withdrawn. The university authority considers the needs of the poor students. There are no additional costs of studying like some other reputed institute.

Campus Life :

There are many books in our library some are rare and professors provide us with various books needed for our course. The environment is quite friendly and there is unity among all. A presidential will never say "NO" if you need any assistance. Tournaments are organized in the playground. cricket, football, and indoor games are played. Students actively take part. There are webinars and other competitions often organized by students and university authorities. There are debate society, quiz society, drama society, liberal arts society, and many more. Presidential help poor people during economic and natural disasters. A covid help desk was being run by our student's union and everyone actively took part in it(according to their abilities).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like computer science very much ..thats why i choose it .My course Covers fundamental concepts in computer science, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. Likely includes courses on computer systems, networking, and database management. My course Might not emphasize emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, or data science as much as industry demands

Placement Experience:

All 3rd-year students and sometimes 4th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies including TCS visit the college. On average, 4 LPA is offered. A lot of students who want to get into jobs right after graduation get placed.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students will be eligible for campus placement. Many recognized companies like TCS, WIPRO, etc. visited and offered a job with a healthy salary after the selection process. Maximum percentages of students from Bethune College are getting placements in recognized companies. I also got selected in TCS. But my plan was to continue my post graduation degree, so I left the job opportunity. My future plan is to complete my pg degree in clinical psychology and after that, I want to complete my MPhil.

Remarks:

All things can't be positive so some negative side is also there. But it is very low. Our college need more faculties. Though I have done extra classes through my guest lecturer and he was awasome. Bus should run after two hours of gaph. It will be beneficial for students.
