Remarks :

I can say only one thing regarding this i.e, luck can change your whole destiny. No doubt ist there is hard work but luck is in parallel with it. So I choose the SSM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY because mostly it is in my locality, 2nd faculty is so experience

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus as usual nothing new at all, designed by Kashmir university, for which we have to take 4 books for 1 subject min. Then we get max.90% of the syllabus, due to covid 19 & article 370 industrial exposure is zero, as we all are fully aware of Kashmir, issue of Kashmir, shumail mam, atria aziz mam, Sami Hamid mam

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 62000 per year

Placement Experience :

I never visited any company, I'm still studying, insha'Allah after the completion of my degree I'll try to visit companies bcpz i know for the person's like me it is very difficult for us to start-up our own business. Because of weak family background.

College Events :

Our campus is famous in the whole Kashmir valley for all these activities like technical, cultural, management festivals, etc. We are enjoying ourselves a lot on our campus but the problem is we are associated with Kashmir university, our college can't do anything without the permission of Kashmir university.

Campus Life :

The sports facility is great, wi-fi is not available at all, size of library nearly 80 by 40, everything which is mentioned in the syllabus designed by Kashmir university is present in our campus. Overall our campus is great and we love it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is average as theory teaching is very good but at the same time practical teachings are very bad . There are hardly any tours outside the university. There should be practical teachings and teachers should make friendly environment.

All about NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.
