Admissions to the B.Tech are done on the basis of JKCET. It state-level entrance test that is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations.

- The faculty in the Computer Science Engineering Department of SSM College of Engineering and Technology was very good.
- Jio is providing many jobs in our college. BSNL also provides jobs, as well as Airtel B. Many companies, such as Vistara, Indigo, and SpiceJet, are offering job opportunities for our students. I also desire a job, but I have several backlogs.
Dislikes
- This is a negative point and should be corrected. At least there should be an internship if not the placement.
- Scholarships are provided by the government based on merit; unfortunately, the college doesnt offer either of the options mentioned in the question.

The eligibility for admission to this college is that you have to pass entrance examination by JKBOPEE. The eligibility for entrance examination is that you have to be 12th passed with non medical subjects. You can get information about the application fofm, application fees and application dates on JKBOPEE website. You can avail rersevation benefits too in the entrance examination. The admission process is quite easy and there is no need of improvement. All the things are crystal clear.

- If you fail in mid term your result in major exam will also get fail

- The best thing was that i got involved a lot with the sports which also boosted my confidence and helped me physically. I got exposed to a lot of literature and meeting new people.
- Faculty was fine but lacked experience. Many teachers have been in the campus for a long time but during the later years inexperienced teachers compensated for the experienced ones.
Dislikes
- Bus facility was inadequate for all the students, and the people living far from the college suffered most from this.
- Lack of exposure was also a problem whether in academics or extra curriculum.

The admission to the course was via the Common Entrance Test conducted by BOPEE. We have to have completed the 12th class in non-medical background. The application process was done when the result was declared and based on the scores, you could have chosen the respective stream. Overall the application process was smooth. However, for counselling all the applicants had to go to another city which I think could have been done in respective cities as well.

- Depressed teacher and less selery to the teacher and shoul teach also good
- Expensive college and no health insurance policy for the students

JKCET test was held and the students who scored well were selected, also 12th-class marks matter, one who has achieved well in 12th-class physics chemistry and maths is most preferred for admission. For admission, I had to visit the college, fill out a form, and pay a 46900 online fee on the feepayer website.
