Course Curriculum Overview :

According to me exam structure of our college is fair. Course curriculum is research driven.PhD students are doing research in their respective fields and helping us in our studies also.Exam structure is like 2 exams,one is mid-semester and other is end-semester taking place every semester.

Placement Experience :

Placement in our college is also at an average level.I don't have much information about internship provided by our college because I am a first-year student and I need to know more about it.

College Events :

This is the finest thing about my college.Saavyas is a techno-cultural event which is celebrated every year in our college.3rd year students are the core members,2nd year Students are organisers and co-ordinators and 1st year students are volunteers in that event.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For me it's expensive because financial condition of our family is not that good and for other general category people also it's a bit expensive.They have to opt for an education loan for this thing.Otherwise they have to face a lot.Every six months we need to pay almost 70000 for new semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No,our college has not provided any scholarship till now. Describing about education loan it is taking a lot of time in my case because of some document issues.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is low as it is an engineering college, extracurricular activities are fine,apart from assignments we get a lot of things to do,Religionism is not there in our college but some people make their own groups and live in that only while some are friendly with everyone.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes,hostel rooms are not really good.Sometimes it feels like a suffocated place.Some students are living in PG also because of the mess food.But in another way it is good also because we all live together and we can share the things with each other.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yeah they are really helpful,they help us for internships and tell us about college,they gave us chances for participating in different sports and extra activities

Admission :

I got admission in this college thourough entrance exam.JEE mains and JEE advanced are the entrance gate of getting admission into IIT's and NIT's. That's why we have this exam and according to our rank college were distributed among all.There were limited seats in ever college so it was a tough competition.

Faculty :

Faculties of our college are good at their work.Tentative number of lecturers in our course right now is 6.They are really helpful when we need them.All are PhD holders in their subject.They are expertises in their subjects as well as they clear all the doubts of the student related to it.

Review of a average civil engineering student

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester you are eligible for placements by the end of 8th semester companies will be approaching college and jobs will be offered Different companies approach and they take interviews according to how many students enrolled for their company For me different companies like ultra tech and deep builders and assmass construction approached and offered of average of 20 to 25,000 salary as a beginner Highest average package would be around 35,000 and lowest is around 15,000 Around 70 to 85% students gets placement. Rest of the students mostly go for their own business or different private companies My plan after the degree is to continue with my dad's business which is road work/ pwd contractor

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Short and better review of IIT Goa

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa offers campus placements to its students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study, i.e., in the 7th or 8th semester. Several reputed companies visit IIT Goa for campus placements, including Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Adani Power, etc. Higher placements offer is of 1.2cr and average placement offers are16-25 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed during campus placements at IIT Goa is quite high, with around 90% of students getting placed every year. The remaining students generally opt for higher studies or pursue entrepreneurship. In case no campus placement is offered, students can explore other options for employability, such as applying for jobs through job portals, professional networking sites, or by directly contacting companies. They can also consider pursuing higher education or research in their field of interest or starting their own business.

Remarks:

My college has the best infrastructure to provide for its students with workshops, number of laboratories each meant for seperate branches to conduct experiments, community centres, auditoriums, well equiped library and at last the atmosphere that makes me feel that this is the best institution I have ever went to.
