MHT CET Passing Marks 2025: Check General and Reserved Category Qualifying Marks

MHT CET passing marks are different for different categories and vary every year based on various factors. Some of the factors determining the MHT CET passing marks 2025 include paper difficulty level, candidates appearing for the examination, availability of seats, reservation policy, MHT CET cutoff, etc. Students must score more than the MHT CET 2025 cutoff to pass the MHT CET examination 2025. 

According to the previous years’ trends for MHT CET cutoffs, 

• The expected passing marks for MHT CET 2025 are 45% i.e., 90 marks out of 200.
• Candidates belonging to the OBC category, students must score a minimum of 80 marks to pass the MHT CET 2025 examination. 
• The expected passing marks for SC and ST candidates in MHT CET 2025 are 40%  or 80 marks.

The performance of candidates appearing for MHT CET 2025 is evaluated based on the MHT CET exam pattern 2025. As per the exam pattern for MHT CET 2025, there will be a total of 150 questions for PCM and 200 questions for PCB asked in the MHT CET question paper. The maximum mark that students can score in MHT CET 2025 is 200.

MHT CET 2025 Expected Passing Marks

Passing marks for MHT CET 2025 are expected to be around 90 marks for general category candidates. However, MHT CET passing marks for OBC are 80. Candidates belonging to GSCS and GSTS must also score a minimum of 40% marks respectively to pass MHT CET 2025. Students belonging to the EWS and PWDOPENS categories must score a minimum of around 80 marks to clear the MHT CET 2025 examination. For PCM stream, candidates are required to pass the MHT CET examination 2025 with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Marks allotted to Mathematics are 100, and marks allotted to Physics and Chemistry combined are 100. Out of 200, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) to pass the MHT CET 2025 examination.

Aspirants appearing for the MHT CET PCB 2025 exam must pass the MHT CET exam 2025 with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For Physics and Chemistry combined, candidates can score a maximum of 100 marks. However, students can score a maximum of 100 marks in Biology alone. MHT CET 2025 Exam Pattern

Maharashtra CET Cell evaluates the performance of candidates based on the MHT CET exam pattern 2025. As per the MHT CET exam pattern 2025, students from the PCM stream are required to solve 150 questions, and candidates from the PCB stream can solve a total of 200 questions in the MHT CET 2025 examination.
