CBSE Class 12 Preparation

CBSE Class 12 2025 Preparation Tips: How to Get 100 Out of 100?

Half-Yearly Exam

Now, the majority of the aspirants are preparing for their half-yearly exam which is knocking at the door. We know that for the half-yearly exam, you have hardly 7 to 10 days, but we don't want you to waste it. So, use your time wisely. For the half-yearly exam, divide your time into two categories 1) Before the Exam and 2) During Preparatory Holidays.

Before Exam

In this 7-10-day time, you will have to cover the chapters that are not done in periodic tests. To cover these chapters, divide them into tough chapters and easy chapters. Start revision with an easy chapter. Indulge 1-1.5 hours for easy and 2-2.5 hours for tough chapters. After revision, try to solve NCERT questions.

CBSE Class 12 NCERT Solutions

During Preparatory Holidays

Revise chapters that are already revised and given in the exams. During these preparatory holidays use 50% of your time to revise theories and 50% time in practice questions.

Final Preparation

For the final preparation of class 12 reading NCERT books are required.

  • For English, you will have to give more importance to the author's name, writing format, grammar etc.
  • For maths, you will have to keep a good grasp on all the formulas. Besides that, you will have to practise at least 3 years of PYQs.
  • For chemistry and physics, you will have to develop a basic understanding of the concept and their applications.
  • Avoid making any rigid timetable rather maintain consistency. It’s difficult to finish one chapter each day if you are starting your preparation now. But at least finish 2 chapters of each subject in each month.

Try to revise your chapters in this format:

October November December January
Week 1.2.3. Theory from New Chapters Week 1.2.3. Theory from New Chapters Week 1.2.3. Revise+ Proboards Revise
4 Revision 4. Revision 4. Theory
