Fun and average sometimes

Likes

The fests are really good. They are very fun.
Management is good. We do not face these issues with the management.
Timetable is not that bad like other colleges

Dislikes

Canteen not that good. The food tastes awful sometimes
They really need to step up with their infrastructure
Air conditioners are really needed. I feel suffocated during exam time bcz it’s really crowded there .

Internships Opportunities:

Pehchaan is a great NPO which offers great intenships and LOR datsme is also great for internships Most of them are in finance , marketing and PR and communication. It makes the students learn how things work in real corporate world

All i would say is it is worth it

The environment of colege is very safe fir the girls.. No need to feel insecure here
The faculty of college is very supportive and nice to their students and always ready to help when needed
People and Friends are very nice and helping here...

Dislikes

The exposure of college is less as it is a girl's college
Sometimes teachers cancel the ckasses at very kast moment which is proved to be hectic fif the students and specially for the students whi live far away
The fee structure is very hight.. Somw low middle ckass students and their family can't afford to engage their students in DU

Likes

It is a girls college so obviously your feel safe and free to do and wear whatever you want to do
The faculty the students the environment us great
It offers a spacious infrastructure with grounds , canteens , labs, library etc

Dislikes

Girls college , so you lack a lil bit of exposure
The teachers often cancel the classes at the last moment
Fee is a bit higher then other du colleges

A great college experience

Likes

The college faculty is really supportive and tries their best to explain concept easily in both hindi and english. Also the teachers not oy focus on textbook knowledge but conduct various mun or ppt sessions for real life application.
The infrastructure though not exquisite but is peaceful and provides an auditorium, conference hall, seminar halls and sports complex that serves well for any program. The garden area is best for in between leisure.
The college societies are very engaging as there is some event everyday for students to showcase their skills and talents. Also the societies provide opportunities for students to learn and interact more with others to build their confidence.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite small in size which makes it difficult to accomodate more students and also not all classrooms are air conditioned which makes it stuffy and suffocating in summers.
The college is situated in the heart of the north campus but is still isolated from all other colleges which nakes inter college engagement of students difficult.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies like accenture, deloitte and other marketing companies provide internship opportunities to skilled students. But these opportunities are favoured mostly on bcom or computer science students and there are less options for humanities students which makes it difficult but nonetheless the college seniors provide guidance and opportunities for everyone which helps in getting a good internship for initial years.

All about daulat ram college

Likes

The hardworking teachers. They complete the course satisfactorily and provide us with opportunities to grow like trips to parliament etc. Their teaching methods are good. Almost all Teachers are well qualified and experienced in their fields.
Overall the infrastructure is nice and appropriate for a learning environment. We got three floors, three buildings. Departmental rooms, society spaces and all basic amenities like water, clean washrooms, cheap canteen food, labs, botanical gardens .
Social interactions are good. Events keep happening all the year. Sometimes society events, department events, fests creating a social environment for students to enjoy and socialise. The campus is safe overall.

Dislikes

Support is provided for career advancement but the placements are not up to par. They are mostly available for science and commerce background, other fields get disadvantage in this. Also the placement rate is not high.
Sometimes we get shortage of rooms during exams and had to cancel exams.because of that. I hope new rooms be created.
Sports opportunities are less. They are only present for sport backgrounds students. The normal ones don't get the chance.

Internships Opportunities:

Corizo, wipro, bajaj capital, decathalon, metvy, esettle, prepjunction, inglu, quollab etc. AIM group, Agile Capital Services, Zielhoch, Insplore Consultants, Yaadgar Safar, Eigopaathshala, Unschool. These companies offered a wide array of impressive profiles, including Content Writer, Finance Intern, Management Trainee, Social Media Management, and many more. the highest stipend offered during the last session was 15k per month.

The seniors are very helpful. They make it easier to adapt to the college.
The teachers are quite approachable. Easy doubt clarification possible.
Fest and events take place on regular intervals making college engaging.

Dislikes

The college lacks a little in infrastructure. Sometimes it is difficult to find rooms for classes.

Around 50% students are provided placements after the completion of the course. I personally am pursuing CA right now and would not be using the benefits of placement provided by the college. The college students gets places at very big firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, etc.

Likes

The front lawn the best place in winters.
Library is very nice and fully air conditioned with good lighting.
Sports complex with gym facilities with no extra charges.

Dislikes

Canteen needs serious improvement in food quality and also improved and cleaner sitting area.
Infra needs a little of improvement otherwise its good
The gate no. 1 should also be opened for entry.

An Insightful choice: exploring Daulat Ram College

Likes

The college was a girls college which means it has a safe environment for girls the places around the college are friendly and safe .
The best part of the college is it's away from all the political drama happen in delhi university
The faculty is quite friendly and courses are good with great choice

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not good they do not have basketball and badminton playground
Classes start at 8 in the morning which was very tiring as they end at 4
Gym was not available for all students it should be available for all the students

Internships Opportunities:

The list of the estimed companies that participated in the recruitment drives included accenture, wipro, Deloitte usi, DE SHAW , larsen & TOubro , WTW, ICICI , THE Oberoi group, HDFC, KPMG, tresvista .
