Daulat Ram College Placement 2023 has been concluded. Various reputed companies like Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, DE Shaw, Willis Tower Watson, Wipro Technologies, Genpact, PWC, TresVista, FIS Global, Teach for India and Cvent have been offering placements to our DRC students. The Placement Cell of the College works diligently and zealously to provide the best career and internship opportunities to the students of the College to ameliorate their skills and abilities.

During DRC Placement 2023, more than 110+ students were recruited with 40+ companies. DRC Placement's highest and average package offered stands at INR 21.5 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA respectively. Further, the Gross package is 24.5 CR. The Campus Recruitment for the batch of 2023 has been a huge success concluding with various Fellowships and Articleships with CTCs ranging from INR 3.5 LPA to INR 21.5 LPA.

DRC Internships

The Placement Cell of Daulat Ram College has played a pivotal role in arranging multiple internship drives to foster a stronger connection between academia and industry. It is in line with the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasizes giving students real-world exposure and experience. During the latest internship drive, a diverse range of students from different courses registered with the Placement Cell, showcasing the widespread interest and participation among the student body.

Notable companies such as the AIM group, Agile Capital Services, Zielhoch, Insplore Consultants, Yaadgar Safar, Eigopaathshala, Unschool and others have collaborated with Daulat Ram College for internships. The efforts of the Placement Cell and the participating companies resulted in 120+ students securing internship offers. During the most recent session, the highest monthly stipend granted was INR 15,000.

DRC Incrementum

Incrementum is the yearly Daulat Ram College Placement Cell career and internship fair. Students can use the expo as a platform to look into different career options and land internships and positions with reputable companies. Vriddhi has successfully conducted 6 versions of Incrementum.

Every year, more than 800 students sign up for the fair, fostering a lively and competitive atmosphere. The occasion draws about 40+ companies from a variety of industries. Notable businesses that were brought on board include EigoPaathshala, Tech Mahindra, FinOak, Unschool, and Newzera, among others. This two-day program recorded the highest CTC going up to 5 LPA and the highest stipend shooting as high as 15k per month.

Life at DRC- is it worth your time and energy

The organisations of fest is good, it's interactive and full of enthusiasm.
The few newly renovated classrooms have ACs which is a must in Delhi's summers.

Dislikes

The class schedules are horrible. At times there are classes with a gap ranging from 2 to 4 hours which takes up the entire day for a 2 hour lecture.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are given to students who are in their 3rd year. Several companies like KPMG, Zomato, Deloitte, Byju's, Pwc, Bajaj Capital, etc. visit the campus and make several offers. The highest package was 21.5L in 2023 whereas the average was 6.5L. The profiles include data, finance, HR and management, consultancy, education, sales and marketing, etc. 110+ students received offer letters in 2023.

The Mathematics Faculty is amazing. Faculty members are super active and motivates us for our studies. Apart from your, academic they guide us in our regular life. Life lesson during classes are the best part. Faculty Members keep classes interactive
Best part is practical classes. You got to know about many new things. Such an amazing staff I have never ever seen before.

Dislikes

There's infrastructure issues which is under construction.
Annual fest is amazing but departmental fest could improve a little bit.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements and for that you have to give 2 exams one is written exam and another one is interview round. I don't think so if any company visits deal are made up. I think 21 Lakh was the highest package and it was from Deloitte company ig. You should have 8+ CGPA and involved in extra curriculum activities, in short I would say your CV should be strong.

Pls don't hate girls college

The first thing which I really like about my college is that it's a girls college and I always wanted to be in a girls college because living in delhi I wanted to feel safe atleast somewhere that being my college I love it.
Our college has the biggest 3 floor Library and the biggest auditorium of delhi university. Performing on the stage of sadbhavna bhawan makes me feel so joyous.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, omg it needs to improved a lot compared to other girls colleges our college isn't that of a beauty to stare and look at.
Canteen facilities, overpriced and does not taste good at all

I myself am in 1st year I don't have a big knowledge about this but yes placements are there in every college. Talking about mine Bcom hona gets the most placed. Rather than this i really don't a have a vast knowledge about this

I am enrolled in NCCDRC and that is the best part of my college experience as I am able to learn the Army Way of life, given many public speaking, cultural, debating opportunities. It has helped me shape my overall personality.
The Department of Political Science, Republica conducts many seminars and orientations for UPSC Aspirants, and other opportunities in life. The Fest of Republica conducts various quizzes, policy-making competitions where one can win and get a 150-200

Dislikes

Infrastructure, the washrooms are dirty and the classrooms accommodate smaller strength
The NSO or the sports organisation. There are no sheds in the grounds, basketball, volleyball, badminton or cricket courts.

Placement Experience:

Over 40 top companies like Unstop, Teach for India, GSC and Associates, Big Boy toy, Fioak, etc and more offered various profiles in marketing, finance, and many more with stipends up to 1.5 L and CTCs over 10 LPA. 1500+ students from all over Delhi joined. The eligibility criteria for companies varied, students from all years could avail themselves of opportunities in various NGOs and companies. The key opportunity was given to students of economics or commerce background based on the job profiles. I want to pursue a masters degree in International Relations from JNU, Delhi becoming eligible for PHD in IR and going for NAT-JRF examination after my masters.

Every year student is available for campus placement, placement cells organises placement Mela every year in even semesters in which anyone can take part. Wipro, IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte, Oracle, Infosys etc. Around 80% of students get placed who apply for placements. I am interested in pursuing my Masters in Physics after my undergrad.

College life at DRC is the best. I have made friends for life in this college.

Dislikes

There's nothing really to dislike about DRC , one day my class sat together and thought a lot about this, and the only conclusion we came to was, everything was good, there's nothing to dislike about DRC. You can only love it.

Placement Experience:

The college placements are also great. Some of the seniors have been selected by MNCs such as Deloitte, Accenture etc. You can enroll yourself for internships from the first year itself and for placements in the final year. DRC has the highest placement percentage in north campus as per the naac database. The highest package offered was of more than 20lacs, with average between the 10-15lacs. Tge professors personally bring and motivate you for internships. Under NEP , mentor mentee groups were formed in my college in which each professors personally guide a group of 10-12 students regarding academics, placements, internships, researchs etc. The ethos is very friendly and motivating.

The faculty was excellent. The classes were taken on time and the notes were well maintained.
The unit tests were taken in a proper manner which helped in the end semester examinations.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could have been better. Construction in the college was a bit disturbing thing.
More subjects could have been available in the Generic Elective course.

Placement Experience:

The students in the last semester were eligible for the placements. Various companied like KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture visited the campus offering the average package of 6.5 LPA. On average, 100 students were placed.

Good Infrastructures and way of teaching and involved of student in other extra curriculum activities most of the teachers are Cooperative and Helping Nature
Distance between other colleges are very less so it makes student efficient to visit other colleges and see the facility and Infrastructures and comparison between the student make their life perfect

Nothing I dis like in you colleges is that here lots of things are present like it the classes is held on 8 to 5 that is too much too much buddy on a student and it impact the student is just like and their mental life also

If I talk about the placement of the college then going to talk about the Delhi University placement then then it provide very good opportunity than if I talk about the my college that the Daulat Ram College it has the placement sale call as Riddhi placement cell and it provide the internship opportunity for the 1st year 2nd year 3rd year 3rd year student as well as the fourth year student then according to new education policy we have the fourth fourth year graduation also and it provide the research field so that we have to we have to do list hard work in the master degree and so first and second year student to have the internship for their for their learning and the guidelines for guidelines for the place future placement and its all about all about their career opportunity

The security, amenities, and the environment is too good and safe

The placement scenario at my college is generally positive, with several reputable companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The highest package ranges from 19 to 20 Lakhs INR, with an average package of 6 Lakhs. The percentage of students securing placement is reported to be between 70-90%, which is a promising statistics.
