The minimum qualification for admission to MSW programme is a Bachelor Degree in any stream under 10+2+3 pattern, from a recognized university securing a minimum of 45% marks in major or in aggregate (40% for SC, ST & OBC).

- My fieldwork placements were great. We got to explore alot during our field trips.
- All the teachers were great and whenever needed help they are ever ready to participate with the students.
Dislikes
- Teachers tends to teach mostly in Assamese where some of the non-assamese find it difficult sometimes especially during the programs either college week or any festivals, they mostly organise them in assamese.
- Lack of workshops organise by the Department. As a social work background, it is necessary for the students to attend lots of workshops
Fees and Financial Aid:
During my time there was no increasing in my course. At the admmsion the fees were 80,000 along with the first semester fees. Second semester was 52.000. Third semester was 48,000. Fourth Semester was 32,000.
