Course Curriculum Overview

2

Social work is a course with many scopes. My decision in choosing this course was to change the society I lived in. If more workshops were organized to the students then it would be great. Fieldwork systems should be improve and look more into their reports.

Internships Opportunities

3

I was first place during my internship was at Kripa Foundation where it is an NGO that take care of a Drug users inmates. Met the inmates, get to know their stories and challenges and organise many programs with them. I was also place any Brahmaputra Health Care Society where it was an NGO for the prevention of HIV/AIDS.

Fees and Financial Aid

During my time there was no increasing in my course. At the admmsion the fees were 80,000 along with the first semester fees. Second semester was 52.000. Third semester was 48,000. Fourth Semester was 32,000.

Campus Life

2.5

All the festivals were great from the fresher's meet to the farewell programs. I like most was the food fest were all have to participated in the program. I sell allu chat and I received profit over 2000/-. I also participated in the fresher's meet, college week and all others.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I stayed in a PG near the college campus. It was clean and many of the students were accommodated in the same PG as mine. The meal was great and missed the chicken biryani. The hostel cost was 6500/- per month

Admission

I search of the college online then I called the given helpline number. Visited the college after a week then I got the admmsision directly since I crossed 60% in my BSW. The admission process were great and I do not face any problem

Faculty

3.5

The faculty must take a good care of their students espescially in guiding them during their fieldwork. The faculty must look intobtge students field reports and correct them if any mistakes found. The students- teachers relationships were great.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement to the students, but it varys to students to students. It definitely doesnt provide placements to all. I feel the placement packages should be a little higher, and also engage the students with their extra skill set learning programs which will boost the overall placement process.
