Placement Experience:

We were a post COVID batch. So placement was quite slow. Our placements started from 3rd semester itself but salaries weren't good as the COVID effect was still there. But still we received placement assistance even after our classes got over and that's how I got my placement. It was more than 90% in my batch and I worked for 2 years after getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees was paid for one year all at once that included the tuition and admission fees as well. I didn't opt for the hostel so that was exempted. In the first year, I had paid the admission fees and the first year fees together which was 300000/ year

The tution fee is 1.3 lakh per annum for general and obc students but for SC and ST students there is exemption from the tution fee. This tution fee includes all the fees from labs to development and other charge. The hostel and mess fee is roughly around 50000 per year and this compulsory for all category of students. There are scholarship opportunity for SC and ST students and also for female candidates. The fees have gradually increased over the years. It is a trend across most college due to inflation and infrastructure development.

Faculty:

In my experience the faculty is very nice and well qualified to be a teaching us. They are very smart and intelligent and many of them are well focused on research and development in thier own subject. Though one may question the teaching style and method of certain professors as they need not necessarily be good at teaching but holds emmence knowledge of what they teach. Many of them are very compationate of thier subject and eager to teach and want you to understand what they know about thier subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the course curriculum is good but the problem is with the time. Due to delayed commencement of classes we usually have to suffer with lack of time. You have to give 2 internals with one mid term and then the semester end exam within the span of approximate 4 months which make it really difficult to cope up with it without any stress.

Placement Experience:

So basically campus placements start with the 3rd semester itself but the drawback is you will be offered a package of 3-4 lakhs on an average which is quite low for a post graduate student. But yes one can definitely opt for off campus placemnt in his/her 4th semester.

Students would be eligible for campus placements from 2nd year only We get internships from first year only hut most ofbthem are online and don't seem to be that effective for a student and moreover all are unpaid. There are nearly 15-20 companies visiting the campus Highest package could be of 6-7 lks and average could be of 3 lkhs Plans after my degree would be getting a job in campus placements or try off campus The percentage of students getting placed in campus placements would be 40-45%

Faculty is good but some of the teachers are one sided pr biased. I think that's not good. And One thing I face there. Usually I am from 80km from college so I have to travel with college bus but the environment of bus is too bad. Worst things are I can't sit with my friends I spend 7-8 in College and 3-4 hrs in bus. So it's disaster time for me to sit alone in bus. Sometime I cried

Placement Experience:

Campus are good. But in my opinion if 70 students are in the class. I think all have some capabilities and they receive their time for every action because all response time is not same , and sometimes fast is not good sometimes slow is the standard..

Ques. How is MBA-HR at XIMB? I am a fresher should I take it or try once more?

● Top Answer By Arindam Chakraborty on 22 Apr 21

Ans. In recent day’s globalization and the extremely advanced business environment, business organizations worldwide face several uncertainties. It is important for the business's survival, employee motivation, and worldwide development to retain a highly competitive and diverse marketplace.  MBA - HRM at XIMB: The program helps you with vigorous training in HRM theories and practical knowledge. It successfully builds a holistic business perception in student’s minds with positive business principles and social understanding. The course is intended to extend highly experienced HR professionals. It imparts the skill, knowledge, and experiences that are indispensable to direct an organization’s HR department. This program offers in the disciplines of OB (Organisational Behaviour), HRM (Human Resource Management), and IR (Industrial Relations). Students from other study backgrounds like Marketing, Strategic Management, Operations, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Information Systems, and Business Ethics can study. Academics The course is covered within six-term with three months duration for each. Thus, the academic year consists of 3 terms in this institute. The first term starts in June and ends in September. The second term begins in September and lasts up to December, and the third term duration is from December to March. This program includes 16 class sessions in a week, with 90 minutes duration for each program. Thus, the pupil’s workload, such as term papers, readings, projects, field visits, and classroom sessions, is expected to entail roughly 70 hours in a week. Thus, if you are a fresher and scored 55% in graduation with XAT /GMAT//CAT/X-GMT/ NMAT scores, then it is suggested not to waste another year. Don’t wait for another try because the selection process is entirely done on the basis of your performances in XAT /GMAT//CAT/X-GMT/ NMAT. The college administration also takes a writing test, group discussion followed by a personal interview session, so be well-prepared without wasting time.Read more

Ques. How good is an MBA in HR in Tapmi, the salary package and everything?

Ans. Tapmi has state-of-the-art facilities. Each and every student has a Medicare card through which he can access all the facilities at the recognized hospitals at very affordable prices. Ques. What should be preference order of IMT Ghaziabad courses- PGDM, PGDM marketing, PGDM finance, PGDM DCP, PGDM banking, insurance and financial services?

● Top Answer By Dhruv Chatterjee on 25 Jan 23

Ans. IMT Ghaziabad offers a variety of courses that cater to various specializations. These courses have been listed and explained in their order of preference PGDM Marketing/PGDM Full Time (Marketing): This is the most coveted program among IMT students mainly because today its alumni have acquired top positions in big firms. Other major reasons include top-notch faculty, great internship and placement opportunities in terms of role and CTC, IMT’s eligibility, and excellent performances in recognized marketing and strategy B Schools competitions. PGDM Finance/PGDM Full Time (Finance): This one is most suitable for aspirants who are interested in Finance. However, this program offers lesser opportunities than the Marketing program in terms of role and CTC.  PGDM Full Time (Operations): This program offers opportunities similar to that of Finance. But the batch size of PGDM Operations is smaller than PGDM Finance, so it may be easier to secure an internship/final placement, but the opportunities come less compared to Finance. PGDM DCP: DCP or the Dual Country Program is for those who are keen to get international exposure. Compared to an MBA from a foreign university, this program is cheaper and yet offers an opportunity to explore a different culture and learn to make decisions in an international context. This is best suitable for those who are in the Marketing domain. PGDM Banking and Financial Services (PGDM-BFS): This program was launched in 2019 and is relatively newer. It targets the core Banking and Finance sector. While the MBA program aims to provide a holistic view of management, this program solely focuses on Banking and Finance. PGDM Full Time (HR): This is the least taken course and offers very less in terms of opportunities. The courses have been arranged preference-wise so will make it easy for you to choose one.Read more

Ques. Which course in TAPMI is better, the core PGDM, the HRM, or BKFS?

● Top Answer By Divya Kaur on 02 May 23

Ans. What's most important is that you enjoy it. The BKFS program is highly specialized and designed to equip students with the tools necessary to succeed in any financial-related field. The PGDM's first year emphasizes variety over specialization. Two years into the program, you'll have the option to focus on either Marketing, Operations, or Finance. It's up to you to determine the kind of career you want to have. Everything in the new system will be up to the individual, replacing both the major and minor systems. Although the HR course is brand new, it will be just as rigorous and cover the same ground as other courses.Read more
