- Computer Center: The college has an air-conditioned Central Computer Center with 32 modern sets with a high speed 50 Mbps broadband line provided by AMTRON under ASWAN Project. Both students and faculty use this facility. The Computer Centre is also used for conducting classes for the students of B.Sc & M.Sc. Zoology & Botany students.
- Cafeteria: The college cafeteria provides both vegetarian and nonvegetarian food. It provides high quality and diverse food. It caters to the canteen requirements on the college campus. It also provides a UV treated filtered drinking water setup along with water coolers.
- Hostel: Handique Girls’ College has its own hostel situated at the heart of the city on the eastern bank of Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati. After that the merit list is given out which helps the students to know whether they are eligible for getting admission or not and after thus admissions are taken, but the process of admission gets too long since everyone has to wait there for long period of time

- The classrooms and labs are really dirty and old and the equipments in the lab are not working properly.
- The teachers are really rude and doesn't response well when needed. Some of them can't teach well either.

First we have to fill up online form and we were selected on the basis of the percentage we scored in 12th boards. There's reservation seats available too. The application form will be available at the college official website.

- Independence: The independence in the college campus was marvelous. The way we could roam around in every corner of the campus is just fantastic. Had a great time learning and developing as an individual there.
- Support and Guidance: We were divided into groups of mentorship under each student for any life related support. Wheather it's our personal life choices or professional life tensions, we got a mentor for every aspects of life.
Dislikes
- Oh as all students, 75% attendance. Even if it was not that to achieve but as a student we've got out troubles when it comes to attending early morning classes.
Admission:
When I was applying, the cut off was around 70% in 12th grade. But then also it depends on different courses and honours. As my percentage was above 85%, it was not a hassle for to get admitted at all. I could choose which ever department i wanted.

Admission is taken in merit based. They see the eligibility marks , percentage that we got in HS final. And I like the way they did that I mean it's kinda good thing to choose students with their grades not with their faces and apart from this i didn't gave any entrance exams but I will give it later for my upcoming course and for different colleges

The cutoff marks are 90% 86% 80% and with the reservation system it for ST it 70 to 80% and Obc category 80% 86% minimum . The admission process was overall good only like it's systematic where it should be probably don't know much as my father went but overall it was good

The admission was done in online mode so that the students do not face any problem. The students have to apply in a college website for admission and then after few days merit lists are provided where the number of selected students and their names are mentioned. After that they can accept the offer and can take admission in the respected college. There is also an eligibility percentage which starts from 75 to 95 percentage or more than 95 %.

There's was no entrance exam held but the admission happened by the eligibility of the course. The admission process was good for BA course. The college managed the admission process very well. The cut off was based on the availability of seats on the certain department that students want to choose.

I joined in 2021 and there were no entrance exams. The eligibility of the course is that you need to score 60% in your class 12 exams and you will surely get it . The general students, need to score more than 75 percent to get into Home Science. The application form will be available on the college website and it's cost low.
