The placements are good here , recession for past 5 years slows the placement rate but it not affects entire placements , they also tie up with huge mncs like amazon, google,and other companies too.
The faculty to student ratio in rec is very good that is 1:10 the faculty here are very well trained in their respective domains.
The annual culturals is always a huge success and helps keep a better environment among students.

Dislikes

This college need to reduce the fees structure as much as lower
Lab facilities are very poor the instruments in the lab will be worst
I started hostel life it was boring because it was very strict.

Life at RIT Chennai

Likes

Eco friendly campus covered with tress .
High-tech labs with top end gadgets provided.
Has a very good canteen and friendly faculty.

Dislikes

Hostel for boys is outside the campus but transport will be provided
Small campus compared to other colleges.
Only vegetarian food will provided in canteen and mess (egg provided)

Curriculum has more of practical periods than theory periods.placement training starts from 2nd year onwards and they help you to get into internships often. They prepare you for sem end exam by keeping CAT exams monthly.

I liked events like Hackathon and other placement seminars
Training and Placement is given with all soft skills
Syllabus is taught clearly by experienced staffs

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not as much big as other campus
Canteens only have two counter which is always conjusted
Hostellers were shifted from second year to another hostel which is far from college

Placements are very good in terms of package and they provide placement training which is very effective
There are many clubs where u can improve your communication, coding, debating , photography and wide range of talents . They provide many internship even in first year
Culturals are very refreshing for the students which are organised by the students

Dislikes

Food is average and they provide only vegetarian (includes egg)
There are some people knows as students care who are very strict and they roam in the college and catch students for breaking rules . It's good but for sometimes they wantedly target us
Overall college is friendly but some staff makes new rules like have a formal haircut , shave your beard and don't talk to girls . But it's only few

Why REC?

Likes

Things I liked there was they annually conducting every department functions, symposiums and cultural for three longs days which makes student free from academics and stress free college days
Traveling experience to the college was smooth because of the well furnished air conditioning buses for long routes.
Placement activities of the college was to the utmost, they brought up more companies for the placement

Dislikes

Teachers and syllabus teaching method in this college was poor.
This college is more like school, and more strict,they were some student roaming there for stopping the students bunking their classes

Culturals, students were organizing the event, dress code, less strict
They offers the interactive classes during each sem which were personality development

Dislikes

College canteen is not sufficient, college size very small
All block were in construction, All blocks were need to redemolished

The student is eligible for 3year itself, but you have to be skilled and have nil arrears. The highest packages were 12lpa and lowest were 4 lpa. My plan to pursue the m.e in ece industry and to work as a senior in the company's

The environment is so good and here where in greenary
The college has AC bus but some route where non AC bus
There were a 100 percentage placement and the the teaching where very good

Dislikes

For 1st year there where so strict and we could not bunk the class
The hostel food was very worst and the canteen where some what better
There is no any clutural event for a year 1 clutural event where there

The faculties in RIT are well trained and experienced in inculcating the Students with industry ready skills
Here the students are provided with the hands on training of technical tolls in the domain which they'd like to specialise themselves.
The placements in RIT. Looks decent a student with average academic can get placed with a package of 3-4 LPA.

Dislikes

The campus is neat and clean but still it's a small campus it doesn't suit the students who dream about a huge campus.

Placement Experience:

Students in RIT are eligible for campus placements from the mid of the 3rd year. The placements here are pretty good and decent. Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, HCL, Tidal, ZOHO and many more companies come for recruitment process. The highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA

The main thing I like in my college is the placements oppurtunities.
The faculty here are really trained and experienced and they are well versed in the subjects they handle.
They encourage sports activities here in REC. Here the campus is also good greenish enough which motivates students to study well.

Dislikes

The campus is very far away usually it takes more than an hour to travel to college.
The food they provide in hostel mess and in canteen are not that much good and here only vegetarian foods are sold.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is really good and mainly in the field of IT placements. The top companies like CTS,TCS,WIPRO are came here for placements. The hightest package offered in my college Rs.1000000 per anum. The percentage of students gets placed in my college is closely 90%. My plans after getting degree is to get palced in the electronics company.

The professors here are also very friendly and they are also very trained
The college is good in providing culturals

Dislikes

The food they provide in canteen and hostel mess are not good

In REC students are eligible after completing 6 semesters. Top IT companies like CTS, TCS, ACCENTURE, and WIPRO are hiring students 90% of placements are in REC. The highest package is 45L per annum. More than 90% of students in this college are placed in campus interviews. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in a good company.

College environment is greenary and calm
Education system is top notch and monthly test are conducted regularly
Placement are too good and training for placement is also conducted in good manner

College is bit strict mainly in first year
Even for small mistake suspension will be done
