Saveetha Engineering College (SEC) was established in 2001 by Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan, Dentist by profession. The college has a total strength of 4349 students in 12 UG courses which include Agricultural, Artificial Intelligence & Data Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Civil, Chemical, CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, IT, Mechanical and Medical Electronics & also has 8 PG Courses including MBA. On 2023 there is not enterance exams and the admission is based on purely with cutoffs But from 2024, SEC is conducting a enterance exam for each and every students who needs to get admission in SEC. But there is no common test like whole students must write in a single day. You can write the exam whenever you want but you should come to college to attend it. You should prepare the basics of class 12 to get higher marks in it. But if the reveal some of the syllabus or which are the topics needed for the enterance exam it could be easier for students because they may be in not touch to their studies so if the provide some info it will help to study with some concentration on important topics

There is only one eligibility to apply for this course, which is to get 50% in the 12th board examination. If we obtain 50% or above 50% we are eligible to apply for this course. We can apply for this course for a specific college on their college's official websites, through which we know about application fees and application dates. The process of admission is good as of now, there is no need for a change or upgradation.

I applied for the TNEA councelling and I opted for this college as my 4th choice. My cutoff was 171 and I got this college for the ECE department. There is also an entrance exam conducted by the college for admission. For the entrance exam details, contact the college admission number on the website.

Actually, I got into this college through TNEA Counselling based on the cut-off. There are no entrance examinations but there is a certain criterion like 60 percentage in the 12th Board so that we can get into this college in Management Quota.
