The fees for our college is something around 1.60K/yr, however Thakur college offers scholarship like ebc and many more. For the students who got admission from government quota can get benefits of ebc, and who failed to grab those scholarship for them there are other scholarship. Students with strong academic performance gets those benefits.

Tution fee is okay as compared to other colleges, but as this college is not considered that good of a college so it's pretty high for that reason. The hikes in fees is not that turbulent. The usually cost of college is around ?1,58,000 There are government charges, fees, infrastructure costs, etc are all included. There are schemes or fee structure different for obc/sc/st.And for lower income families a government scheme. Campus employment is very hogh for computer, it, aiml, aids engineers . Job roles for mechanical engineers not so much in demand.

The tution fees depend upon the category you belong to this is a Hindi minority college and the college fee is around 170000 for this year with tution fees of 95 thousand and there are various schemes such as reservation,j&k quota, etc. Other scholarships include mahadbt and minority scholarships.
Fees are constantly increasing because now the college has gained the status of autonomous status and are planning to go for deemed university when you talk about fees policy at the time of admission you just need to pay some 1000 Rs (for the second year onwards ) and 1500 Rs for the first year in the name of student council but if you calculate all the student's money and see at the activities done by the council you don't get to see the worth of money and also after being pass out you need to pay 1500 Rs as an alumni fees that's just another way of doing business. You can get different scholarships like if you score well you can get TFWS benefit (Tuition fees waiver Scheme - your approximately 90% fees gets waived off) then you have EBC scheme in which your approximately 40% fees are waived off and these schemes are by Government of Maharashtra so a maximum of students get but provided you satisfy all the criteria given in the list for the eligibility and College helps you in getting those benefits.
As I took mechanical engineering, there are many instruments available for this where you can perform practicals and get better understanding about the courses and concepts. Apart from this the faculty members are also very good and their way of teaching is excellent.
The mechanical department is very cool.the college provides you with lots of practical knowledge which is quite interesting and help you understand the concepts really well. Also the teachers are very friendly and teaches you with great interest
No, I didn't opted for any loan or scholarship. And it does provide scholarship but I dont know much about it.
Now 1 thing I would like to share, out of topic, is our education system has many week points and it is like ‘you reap what you sow’. One of my friends from TCET has made it to ‘Google Summer of Code’ twice and I know someone from ‘Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology’, again an average college, working in Google. So ultimately its you who have to do all the job.
As per industry requirements, our college is doing great job. Recently it's got autonomous status. Now our college has its own syllabus aur schedule of examination. I think, every faculty is good so there is no point to say good or bad. But still management enrolling new teachers.
