Anna University holds over 13 constituent schools and 593 associated schools. MIT is a member of Anna University and has won various awards that include an award from the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). COEP is an autonomous institute and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University with 725 and 342 students in the UG and PG level courses. Jadavpur University is a member of the Association of Universities of India (AIU) and has been accredited with Grade A by NAAC. Admission Process: Anna University and MIT Chennai: Students who obtained a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2 can apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions(TNEA) for undergraduate admissions at MIT Chennai and Anna University. For the B.Arch program, students will have to sit for the NATA entrance exam and must obtain a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2 Bachelor’s students with 50% marks can apply for M.Tech programs, given that they have a relevant TANCET/GATE score and is required by most universities. College of Engineering Pune: Students with a minimum of 50% in 10+2 can sit for the MH-CET entrance exam, which will enable them to apply for an array of B.E/B.Tech programs at COEP. Jadavpur University:For admissions into the B.Tech and B.Pharm program of Jadavpur University, students must obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 with a valid rank in WBJEE entrance test. Cut off: MIT Chennai: In the year 2019, the MIT Chennai cut-off for B.E in Computer Engineering was 516 and for B.E in Automobile Engineering was 1312. The lowest cut-off at MIT Chennai was recorded in B.E in Rubber and Plastic Technology and B.E in Automobile Engineering with 9812 and 6192 respectively. Jadavpur University: In the year 2019, the WBJEE cut-off for Computer Science and Engineering ranged from 49-81, and Information Technology was 104-159 in Round 1. College of Engineering Pune: Among all the courses in the College of Engineering Pune, the highest cut-off has been recorded in B.Tech in Computer Engineering with a cut-off of 134 in the year 2019. Admission to the aforementioned universities can be a cakewalk if one qualifies the relevant entrance exams with standard scores. In regard to cut-off marks, universities display wide variation in their cut-off between consecutive years.

COEP Cutoff 2024 (Expected): Check MHT CET, JEE Main and MAHCET cutoffs

COEP Pune Cutoff 2024 will be based on the MHT CET and JEE Main score. Through these two exams, COEP determines the intake of the students. The original 80% of seats are reserved and available for the Maharashtra state candidates through the MHT CET scores. The other 20% of seats are offered to the All India candidates through the JEE Main score. However, the Maharashtra state candidates can also participate in the JEE Main quota admission.

As per the 2023 records, the MHT CET cutoff 2023 for the COEP B.Tech programs remained between 97.45 percentile and 99.92 percentile whereas the Computer Science and Information Technology recorded the maximum cutoff of 99.2 percentile.

COEP also offers an MBA program through the MAH CET scores and the result for the same is yet to be released. However, the maximum MAH CET cutoff 2023 for the general open category closed at 98.91 percentile for the Finance and Entrepreneurship branches.

The college envirnoment was very good. As it's one of the best institute under the state government facilities are up to date. Its an autonomus institute its syllabus is up to date as per industries need and covers all the important concepts needed
for competative exams. One of the important that attracts many students is its placements. COEP provides you great placement opportunities as good as any NIT or lower IIT's.

The way of teaching is very poor as compared to private institute.

O2ne has to appear for the state entrance exam called MHT CET or JEE mains. One should have at least 50% marks in the PCM group. The minimum rank required as of last year for the General, OBC, SC, and ST male categories is around 296, 407, 3053, and 10578. In general, OBC and SC females are around 276, 464, and 4050 respectively. MHT-CET is considered as medium-level exam as it covers only state board syllabus.

Small campus reletive to iits also crowded roads to each campus is divided in 4 part because of road and flyovers
Hostels are not good dirty bathroom no water most of times

The campus is really good. The main attraction of the campus is the building which very old but very well maintained.
The extracurricular activities held by college are awesome. College provide lots of internship like we recently had social internship this summer. Events like gathering, impression, mindspark makes the journey more enthusiastic.

The faculty of my department is not that interested in teaching.
Almost all subjects have practicals but some of them are not taken seriously.

I get this college through mht-cet held in Maharashtra as well as out of Maharashtra but there is special reservation for maharastra domicile candidates. My percentile was 99.67%ile through which I get EnTC branch. For open category 99.7%ile was the cut-off for EnTC. In the month of May the exam is held in a week with number of shifts, it is online exam with 150 questions. You can know more about it on mah-cet website. College have reservation for all categories like obc, sc-st,etc.the cutoff goes low for this categories. The exams are really very simple and they are even more simpler if you were preparing for JEE and for some reason giving MHT-CET. The syllabus of the exam is 12th HSC board only. After you get the results of cet then CAP rounds are held which is a type of counselling for college allotment it has 3 rounds in each round you may get your better preference according to your percentile and rank. Alter allotment pn cap you have confirm your admission in college offline.

Admision process of our college is through MHT-CET exam conducted by state cell and also through JEE-Mains. Admission takes place through CAP rounds considering reservations allkted to various castes and on the basis of merit. Like for manufacturing branch obc cutoff was 96.23%ile

Coep is a reputed college in Maharashtra so you get the benifit of this fact in the placements
It has a great campus situated in the heart of pune Shivajinagar

Local politics is very much here. Even clubs accept people of their region only
Faculties are not mainting the status of coep which it was before a decade.

For computer course one must crack mhtcet with 99.9 (for open) percentile. There is also bilateral entry for diploma student. For admission we need to visit college campus and all the necessary document and forms will be provided there itself at the time of CAP rounds. Details of Reservation Benefits can be found on coep website. In every semester 3 exams are conducted T1,T2, end sem. Difficulty level ranges from subject to subject and on an average it is medium. A good internet connection should be provided by the college at the time of admission.

It requires above 60% in class 12 and mhcet cutoff is around above 98 percentile. There is reservation such as obc,ews,sc,st. Application form are out by MH cet cell . It is taken once a year and difficulty is less than jee mains.

Best College in Maharashtra

COEP is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. As it is the third oldest is Asia and second oldest in India after IIT Rouraki.
There are many clubs are present in my college in total about more than 52 clubs are there. So if you wanna try luck in other than enginnering, it's the best place for you.

The college hostel is some kinda old. The buildings are good but hostel management is worse.
In college, the professors and teachers mostly focus on your grades. The exams are difficult here. So you have to work hard to get your grades.

For applying to this college, you must have given mhtcet or the jee mains exam. I have got admission through the mhtcet. And cutoff was above the 99 percentile for the electronics. The cutoff of college is quite high as it is one of the top colleges in Maharashtra. In the mhtcet there are reservations as given by the mhtcet. You can refer mhtcet for the more information

You need to have 98 – 319 rank in JEE Mains which is the equivalent to 99.6%ile or more to be eligible for admission to CSE course at COEP Pune.

You need to have a rank under 3864 which is the equivalent of around 98%ile to be eligible for admission to COEP Pune B.tech course, if you’re from other state.
