Admission Process: Anna University and MIT Chennai: Students who obtained a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2 can apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions(TNEA) for undergraduate admissions at MIT Chennai and Anna University. For the B.Arch program, students will have to sit for the NATA entrance exam and must obtain a minimum of 50% in PCM in 10+2 Bachelor’s students with 50% marks can apply for M.Tech programs, given that they have a relevant TANCET/GATE score and is required by most universities. College of Engineering Pune: Students with a minimum of 50% in 10+2 can sit for the MH-CET entrance exam, which will enable them to apply for an array of B.E/B.Tech programs at COEP. Jadavpur University:For admissions into the B.Tech and B.Pharm program of Jadavpur University, students must obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 with a valid rank in WBJEE entrance test. Cut off: MIT Chennai: In the year 2019, the MIT Chennai cut-off for B.E in Computer Engineering was 516 and for B.E in Automobile Engineering was 1312. The lowest cut-off at MIT Chennai was recorded in B.E in Rubber and Plastic Technology and B.E in Automobile Engineering with 9812 and 6192 respectively. Jadavpur University: In the year 2019, the WBJEE cut-off for Computer Science and Engineering ranged from 49-81, and Information Technology was 104-159 in Round 1. College of Engineering Pune: Among all the courses in the College of Engineering Pune, the highest cut-off has been recorded in B.Tech in Computer Engineering with a cut-off of 134 in the year 2019. Admission to the aforementioned universities can be a cakewalk if one qualifies the relevant entrance exams with standard scores. Location is really good , the college is located at the center of the city pune.
The college buildings are quite good, some of the buildings are old and have good aesthetics

Campus size is small , as it is in the center of the city

Admission:

This college has a really good reputation. It is one of the oldest colleges in India and has a great alumni network. Also the companies that come here for placement are great. There is alot of scope of the internship opportunites and also the placement for the college is great Almost all of the students in the CS and IT get placed unless they have failed a lot of subjects and have less grades You can have a great time at this college if you have decent grades and good communications skills. No, I didn't got any rejection because this was my first preference and I got this college The admission process for this college goes through the MHTCET examination. This is one of the top colleges of the state so the cutoff score is quite high It is about 99.75 for general category Also the university that you have during 12th grade affects the chances as home university rule is applied The reason for choosing this college is mostly for the reputation , network and placement One more reason is the student life at this college is way better compared to other state colleges

Exciting and various fests that keep students engaged other than studies

The sports facilities provided including ground is very poor and not well maintained at all
Some professor should pay greater attention to experiment based learning rather than theory based learning

I had COEP as my first choice of college and i received it in Round 1 of seat allotment. Except COEP i had only NIT and IIT in mind but could not get it due to sonewhat higher cutoff for specific branches that i was interested in. COEP has all seats filled on merit basis and has no management quota

There nearly 200 colleges and 5 big fest

Labs are not properly maintained i.e., shortage of equipment

I took admission through MHT-CET but also the admission through the JEE mains js also allowed. I am in computer engineering branch and my percentile was 99.89 and cutoff of my branch in open category was 99.80

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

I have taken admission from Spot round ie. Against CAP. Cut off for General category was 96.5%tile in cet and 89%tile for jee, for spot round general was about 94.5%tile for cet and 86%tile for jee For reseravtion OBC benefit is about 15000/- but students taken admission from spot are not eligible for benefits. Spot admission was for those who were present at the time of admission which was so time consuming college should take proper merite list students for their preferance.

Most liked thing would be the campus . I’m the middle of such a hectic city this college offers a very peaceful campus. Overall surrounded by lush green trees and the river Mula mutha . The infrastructure, the essence of being ancient ,it’s wonderful
Also , the course curriculum and the faculties being helpful is really great . You can be totally friends with the faculty and they would assist you with whatever you are going through even after you graduate

The exam pattern would be my most disliked thing as you don’t get enough time to prepare . You can expect exams every month as the gap between each exam would be 25-35 days and there are three exams per semester, so it is quite hectic
Then the second thing I would say is regionalism. Unlike other colleges where usually there is rivalry among branches or senior junior here you can expect among different regions of Maharashtra. So that is something I disliked very much

Eligibility of the course is the merit list of the two exams that it MHT-CET and JEE. Those two exams are required in order to take admission in the college . Also as this college very popular and of top ranking there is so much competition to get into the college . Also there is availability of direct second year Admission based on the polytechnic scores btut even that is very competitive I would say you have to be above 96% in your mht cet exam to secure admission . Then cap rounds are held overalll state and allotment is done based on cut off of each round . Once you get into this college then all the details that are required for admission process are shared CET is held yearly and if you are JEE aspirant then cet is not that hard. But in order to get into coep you have to be prepared and score top ranks Reservation benefits are there but still it is very competitive. Reserve categories have cut off but less than the open and obc cut off

This college has very well experienced teachers and very beautiful campus of 90acres including hostel and ground

High cut off for entering into this college
There are more students and less hostel seats

You must score more cgpa and marks All you will gate on the web site of COEP college In the scholarship section of COEP Exam are conducted 6 times in a year and they are very difficult No any improvement required in admission process

Good hostel facilities provided in cup and also their main facilities

Sin city is located in very crowded crowded place we usually face difficulty of high noise traffic and also pollution
Provided of sincoi Pizza very old college the infrastructure provided here is also getting old day by day

Admission process year raspberry smoothly there are no donation admissions here because it is top college of Maharashtra here admission are only pure merit basis and while admission process student teacher coordination is very nice also senior help us for taking admission and cut off year is nearly about 97% for any of branch

The college campus is really good. There are lot of trees . And also mess is good.
The hostel campus is also good we have free wifi here.

We can get the scores depending upon our scores in mht cet or jee mains. The application form can be filled at the website of cet cell and then through cap round we are alloted college. The students with reservation are given benefits as they have fixed number of seats available out of all the seats.

For B Tech. MHT CET score should be above the 96 percentile. The application process includes online registration, form filling, document upload and verification, and Application fees. 2 internal exams and 1 end-sem examinations per semester. The admission process is complex with no support from the account section

You need to have 98 – 319 rank in JEE Mains which is the equivalent to 99.6%ile or more to be eligible for admission to CSE course at COEP Pune.

You need to have a rank under 3864 which is the equivalent of around 98%ile to be eligible for admission to COEP Pune B.tech course, if you’re from other state.
