Course curriculum is highly relevant and prepared as per IIT standard. Teaching methods needs to improve since faculties just read ppt without giving proper knowledge about some subjects, whereas some faculties can't even teach a subject due to their deliberate course take up. Exams are very difficult.

To basically first everyone told me that took CS branch because it has a great future but now it is a lot of saturation in the CS branch because students from the engineering to also be say course there entering into the CS 12 and creating a great competition the coding the software engineering so I took the branch because it is less competition as well as cut off of co2 intc branch Also the current curriculum of this very well for the future job opportunities as well as they ulcer teachers how to answer the questions in the interview how to prepare for the interview how to tackle problem also there is required you tell me to improvement in the teaching curriculum as teachers are pitching by teaching on that board by yes playing the ppd and exploding by seeing on the PPT not getting that you want to practical explanations of the concept so we can get it more efficiently

For first year most of curriculum is 11th and 12th for some subjects we get new and other things than 11th and 12th but mostly is 11th 12th based. For 1st sem we had C Language and for 2nd sem data visualisation and preprocessing type of subject which were new for us. For 1st year I don't think so the curriculum really influence you for real world application, i need to wait for it for more 3 years. I think there is no need to improve curriculum because almost all aspects were cleared. Total 6 exams in one year, for 1st sem 2 midsem and one end semester exam. Gap between midsems 1 and 2 is generally one month or less. Similar for second sem also. Difficulty level of midsems we call it T1 and T2, is medium to low whereas endsemd are quite difficult because it covers whole syllabus. T1 and T2 contains only those topics which are covered earlier and also T2 don't contain those topics which are in T1 so that's good thing about it.

As the implementation of National Education policy, the course is well structured. It's prepares us for real world application. Teaching is should be improved from my point of view. There is test one , test two and end semester exam for each semester.

The course and curriculum in college is quite industry oriented. In the first year, you have all the subjects that are present in all the enginnering colleges but from the second year, you have courses from industry you wanted to work in or you are opted to. And each of these courses, you have to make real life projects so that you can gain the technical knowledge and you will be prepared for industry.

The course curriculum of coep is very much better after getting the coep tech University tag. Syllabus can be again improved by giving responsibility to students about practical knowledge. Exams are held within a span of 40 days Not sufficient for preparation and other work

I chose ENTC , it is an evergreen branch , it provides many opportunities in IT sector as well as in core sector, curriculum is fine , teaching method is totally depends on the faculty , exams are difficult compare to other colleges

I had an interest in electronics fields we can both switch to computer and electronics which had an upper hand Each course had two professors each and the ratio was good enough to solve every student's doubt Most of the professor had their PhD in renowned college Each month the exams were conducted and they were difficult to pass

I choose entc because I couldn't get cs in coep as its cutoff was extremely high The faculty members here are very talented and cooperative some also hold Ph.D. from IIT which is amazing As of my year, the schedule is compacted so the tests are monthly and the end sem is conducted just 3 months after the start of the college You can easily pass test1 and tesr2 with a few efforts But we have to study for the end sem seriously
I chose Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering because I wanted to be exposed to both the software and hardware industry. I had an interest in studying a core branch of Engineering. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50. Most of the faculties in COEP are Phd Holders and they are very well-versed in their respective subjects. The teaching method is awesome. Students can easily grasp the knowledge provided in class and teachers also solve their doubts. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the semester has shifted by almost 3-4 months. But still, the college has handled the situation very well by giving students ample time to study for the exams, instead of rushing the whole year. It is comparatively late in comparison to other colleges but it is certainly less stressful in comparison to those other colleges. Overall the curriculum is nice.
