Electronics and Telecommunication also deals in machine learning and therefore it's better than normal electrical engineering. One red flag though as students are judged more on theory rather than practicals.

Our course is like to good as this is Mumbai University's syllabus. Once can doubt any university for that matter but not Mumbai, isn't it. The college though keeps on adding few things which we know it won't even come in exams but the faculties care a less. They will teach us in and out and at the same time will reach us about work and play balance. So, academics here are a proper work and balance.

E&TC engineering was my 1st choice as the competition is less and demand is reasonable. Somewhat school kind of things exists here as exams takes too much toll. Attendance is little strict and it must be as engineering is certainly not easy. The curriculum is too good as we have industrial labs and industry people come and teaches us for the lab s sessions.

The curriculum on a suprising side felt great and much more relevant other than the subject of Engineering Graphics. Also the NEP policy by our government has been implemented in the college which has increased the relevance of our curriculum. Computer labs are quite advanced and innovation is also promoted in our college
The faculty is good but not up to the mark, which was there in past. Faculty are well educated but Now most of the teachers are on a contract system, moat of the newly joined teacher has no idea what going on they just complete the syllabus and move on College is autonomous that's why teachers whatever they teaching and provided notes question ask directly from this exam
I chose Electronics and telecommunications because of their vast scope in the electronics industry. Also, you can switch your career to the software industry if you wish. The faculty is very nice and helpful, also the faculty to student ratio is quite good which helps students to clear their doubts and get insightful guidance about their careers. Most of the faculties here are Ph.D. holders in their domains from reputed colleges like IITs.Teaching methods lack modernization and it's not up to the mark. You have to approach the faculty for learning resources and doubts. In VJTI we have a Mid-semester and End-semester. The Mid-Semester is simpler than the End-semester. These exams happen with a gap of one and a half months between them. Any student who is regularly in touch with the curriculum can easily pass the exams with average grades.
Fees is quiet reasonable. Being in mumbai, college fees is not that high. 70k is anual fees. If you opt for hostel, its is 22k per year. And if you join mess, it is 34k per year which you can pay in installment. You can always opt for scholarships.
Very very cheap. Fee for entire year was 65000 for all 4 years. It's almost half of other private colleges in Mumbai. For OBC and other reserved caste, it is even lesser. Apart from that there are scholarships for needy.
