Course Description
For applying to the PG courses at NIFT Delhi, candidates are required to satisfy the PG eligibility criteria settled by the NIFT. As the admission to all the courses will be based on merit obtained by the candidates in NIFT Entrance Examinations, candidates are required to apply for the NIFT Delhi Entrance examination conducted by the authorities. The application process can be done following the steps given below:
- Candidates are required to visit the official website of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi.
- Click on register or Apply Online.
- Fulfill all the mandatory details.
- Take a review of the details and check if they are correct.
- After the personal details, candidates are required to choose the course.
- Upload the signature and photo in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee through an online payment method.
- Take a print out of the application form for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi/Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
- Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB)
Admission Guidelines
- The selection of Bachelor of Fashion Technology courses will be purely entrance-based.
- Candidates are required to score the valid score in NIFT Delhi Entrance Examination conducted by the authorities at NIFT Delhi.
- The selection process follows counseling sessions as well.
- Candidates who perform well in Personal Interviews are however preferred.

- The candidates must have qualified in 12th level examinations by any of recognized board i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board of Secondary Education New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Any equivalent to 10+2 level exam from any public school/board/university exam in India or foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

- There are so many events going on all around the gear which makes the life at nift a little less hectic and enjoyable. There are dance clubs, music clubs and other clubs too. The seniors here are so helpful and they're ready to help you anytime you w
- The faculty, the best part of nift is it's faculty, the teachers are super experienced and can give you so much insights about anything you ask them.
Dislikes
- The mess food, it's soooo bad I don't even eat many times
- The life here is so hectic, most of the times you're sleep deprived
Fees and Financial Aid:
The annual fees for B.des is 3lakh per annum including the library fees, exam fees, medical fees and registration fees. Noft offers Sarthak scholarship for students who are not able to pay the high fees structure of Nift but it is difficult to get sarthak scholarship and it requires so many documents.

Every student pay Fees per year is 180000 and it keeps changing until the last year No category wise fees, everyone pays the same amount, Sarthak Scholarship Udan scholarship are the two scholarship provided by college

- Building design, its architecture and aesthetics
- Nature friendly campus everywhere it is so green

- Staff and its pathetic management skills.
- Teachere and professors are not interested to teach

It accumulates around 3-4 lakhs per annum including tuition fees, development fees, lab fees etc. Although some poeple availing sc/st quota do pay less than the general category. They provide scholarships to quota reserved seats

- The boys is to girls ratio here 1:10. My college has the best and coolest faculty they are so understanding supportive and friendly it never feels hesitation to ask anyone out for need.
- The College environment inside out is very calming. The seniors and batchmates all are always ready to help and there is no ragging at all in NIFT Mumbai. We enjoy a lot of events conducted by every clubs and on many festivals.
Dislikes
- I don't like the college stationary as they already know design student need a lot of material very frequent and still being college's own stationary they provide material at cheap rates.
- Overall I don't like the college fee structure it should be little less
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees we pay her eis semester wise i.e six monthly and the fees is approx 1.5 lakh per sem this is to be paid irrespective of category. The student taking admission via NRI sponsored quota has to pay 3 times the regular fees each sem. There are many scholarship students can avail if their parents annual income is till 8 lakhs or below . My college also provide laptop loan and mediclaim .

- The things I liked as a ad department students there are proper machines for us to work in the lab ..we do have proper working ac in the class and over all ratio of girls and boys is 70:30
- We have our canteen where everything is available for eating at a good price
Dislikes
- They take extra fees for re jury and don't even bother about our idms
- Nift is a profit making institute...they earn a lot of money from us

The fee structure and scholarship structure at Nift delhi for bachelors of design There are different departments but the fees for all departments are same The fees is always around 1.69 or something in sem 1,3,5,7 and in sem 2,4,6,8 the fees is comparatively less and secondly they do give scholarship but they have a proper procedure to follow and it's hard to get a scholarship..there is no waive off for other category students the fees is same for all categories

- Campus life is nice, the people are nice there is a little bit of a language barrier but you can overcome it by talking to everyone
- Academic stress is given and the faculties are interested in what you are doing. Unlike other government colleges the faculties push you to do better and be better.
Dislikes
- Clubs are not student oriented there are mostly headed by faculties since at the end of the day they have to approve the events and designs. Recently a lot of politics also occur
- Working at campus after 7 is not allowed and most of the work should be completed in college itself. Towards the jury dates people need to work in the labs but it's not available causing issues.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Every year the fees increase by 20K, this year (2024) the academic fees per semester is 1.7L and the hostel fees are 1.7L for the year. the tution fees is 1.5L and the rest are mediclaim and other miscellaneous fees for exams and library. There are scholarships and you can avail them if your family makes annually under a certain income. If your are eligible you can get upto 90% scholarship as well.

- We can enjoy lots of activities and festival in college life
Dislikes
- Fees is too heigh, every year Nift increase fee structure
- Scholarship benefits is not for everyone students.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Nift fee is too much heigh ever the students who is in good rank also not benefited by and discount in fees. Campus provide us placement but in limited companies only. Library fee is also heigh even when student not wana use or sit in Rc they also can pay fix price no matter you are in which semester so i think library fee can be decided according to the semester of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees were too high for me as I was not too rich, so I took a loan for my education. But the scholarship system was not good because they didn't give any prior information about the scholarship forms and because of that unawareness I lost 2 years of scholarship. Government do provide scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The total fee for 1 year is approx 300000 for 4 year. scholarship opportunity is for all the student who fall under the yearly family income under 4 lakhs . there are three category . First who fall undr 1.5 lakhs offered 100 % off on titution fee, second is under 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs offered 75 % off on titution fee , third is under 2.5 to 4 lakhs offered 50 % off on titution fee.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The cost of the study is on the higher side. It's roughly 15,00,000 for a normal non NRI student and 4X for an NRI student since they got grace admission. There are scholarships based on income and are quite effective. Some students do take advantage by presenting fake documents.
