There is no fees required at ISI. Here if you get above 60% every semester you will get a stipend of 5000/- per month and an additional contingency grant of 5000/- per semester. Only the hostel will cost you 200/- per month.

The course is completely free of cost, stipend is also provided to students. Only hostel and mess fees is required. ISI also has a 100% placement record. Many of the students also opt for masters and PhD.

You are not required to pay any fees. All you need is a great deal of cranial capacity and the ability to work hard. Moreover, every student receives a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month, provided they maintain certain academic standards(as mentioned in the Rules and Regulations). You may also apply for other scholarships instead of the one provided by the institute.
Top three BS students get scholarships from the college. It is granted on the basis of merit and semester result. Several elite national research and development organizations prvide sponsorships that cover tuition fee and guaranteed jobs after graduation.
Tuition fee is 0. A very nominal one-time charge for library, medical facilities is paid during admission. Hostel fees worth Rs. 200 should be paid per month. You have to pay only for what you eat.Every student recieves monthly stipends(Rs. 5000 for bachelors, Rs. 8000 for masters) from the institute. One can even apply for other scholarship like KVPY, INSPIRE, JBNSTS etc instead of accepting the ISI stipend. A yearly contingency grant worth Rs. 5000 for bachelors students and Rs. 8000 for masters students is also provided to the students who take ISI stipend which covers the cost of the books, copy, pens, photocopy and other essential items purchased in an academic year.
There are no tuition fees for the students of the Indian Statistical Institute - Bangalore. However, we are required to pay a monthly amount of 200 INR for hostel charges and 4000 INR annually as Mess charges. Every student receives a stipend of 5000 INR and an annual contingency grant of 5000 INR during the bachelor.
The interesting fact is that the fees for the college is in negative. Yes, I am not kidding. You do not need to pay any fees instead they provide us with Rs 5000 per month scholarship along with a book grant of Rs 2000 per year.
We don't have to avail for any scholarship, since every student by himself gets a stipend and infact, if we apply for any other scholarship, we won't be eligible for that stipend. The only eligibility for stipend is you must maintain a percentage of 60 every sem to continue stipend in next sem.
The college gave stipends of Rs. 3,000 to B Stat (Hons) students or fellowship to the non-sponsored students from government or else where in the first Semistar/ year. And as on the basis of a students performance, The stipends even got renewed.
There was no scholarships opportunities that was provided in my institute that's because the education we were getting was almost free there wasnt any tution fees. So the requirements of scholarships wasn't there. But however an economically poor student could ask for financial aid by the college.
