The Annual Fest " Integration" is organized in the months of January and February. It consists of several chapters, namely MTRP, Tech Chapter, Cultural Chapter and Sports Chapter. The ISI library has a rich collection of books and the latest scientific journals. Campus life mainly revolves around studying. Apart from that there is scope for cultural activities like music and creative writing. ISI students love to play football and table tennis, besides challenging others with interesting math problems. The atmosphere is very homely. The seniors are very helpful and honestly the best. They organize a batch treat for the freshers every year.
Campus has special research center for research students. ISI chases a passion for serving great education for the students. It has campus in every big city of the country. To offer the students a healthy lifestyle it opens a gymnasium in the campus compound.
The institute has a craze among the students. The campus of the college will become the institute's devoted place for study and overall development. It is also involved in the primary activities of the institute such as - Statistical quality control and operation research.
The campus life is full of experience and memories. The library is a good collection of books, research journals, periodicals, etc. The amenities are providing good learning experience and guidance also.
Sports facility: Decent. Sports like cricket, football, volleyball, carrom, table tennis, badminton, chess, cards are quite common among students, research scholars as well faculty and staffs. A basketball court is under construction.Wi-Fi: Apart from "student Wi-Fi" which is accessible to all the students, every division and unit has their own Wi-Fi networks. LAN is also available in the hostel with great speed almost always.Size of library: The library at ISI, Kolkata spans entirely for three floors of the main academic building i.e. S.N.Bose Bhavan. I have already provided other informations regarding library in the previous sections.Equipment in Labs: Never visited the biology geology or psychology labs of the institute. However there are few Computer labs corresponding to every division and a centralized CSSC Lab.
CHAOS is the annual fest of our institute that happens annually during the month of March. ISIBC library has a vast variety of national and international books on various topics of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science. We also have some popular science journals as well which can be borrowed by the students for their needs. The classroom is well designed and has all the basic facilities including lights, fans, blackboards and well built bench and chairs. ISIBC is spread over a vast 30 acres land which has 2 football grounds, 1 basketball court, 2 tennis courts and a gymnasium. The students of ISIBC have a math club for weekly lectures by students and discussion of intruiging problems and solutions. The link is : mathclubisibang.wordpress.com
We have an annual fest named Chaos. Apart from that we have LIMIT which is an online mathematics competition organized by the students of ISI Bangalore. The library is awesome. It has a huge collection of databases and survey. The classrooms have a quite a nice benches and desks. There are lot of sport facilities including various courts. one thing that ISI Bangalore lacks is clubs. However we do have some websites like: Math Club's website: https://mathclubisibang.wordpress.com LIMIT's Website: https://www.limitisi.in Chaos's Website: https://www.isibang.ac.in/~chaos/
Library and the wifi services are quite good. Labs are very well equipped just like any other Central Government Institution. Sports facilities are not that good. There is only one football field inside the campus. A lot of improvement has to be done in this aspect.
