How is SNAP different from CAT or any other management test?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or commonly known as SNAP is different from CAT in terms of the type of quantitative aptitude questions. SNAP has very easy questions in comparison to CAT. You may find the direct application-based questions in this section. The analyticaland logical reasoning section has a higher weightage in comparison with other sections. Each question carries two marks.

What is the procedure for applying to SIMS Pune?

For seeking admission to the MBA program, the students must register themselves for SNAP by visiting the websitehttps://www.snaptest.org/. They will be required to pay an application fee of INR 2250 through Netbanking or Demand Draft. The test fee is non-refundable once paid.

Which specializations does SIMS Pune offer in the MBA program?

The institute offers HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and International Business & Information System as a major. On the other hand, for minor specializations like HR, Marketing, Finance, International Business, Information System, Operations, Retail Management & Entrepreneurship are offered.The students can select their specializations by the end of the first semester.

SIMS, Pune: A good option for MBA Finance!

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% final placements. The higest package is around 24 lakhs per annum. Average package is 9.56 lakhs per annum. The maximum recruiters are from the Manufacturing sector as they are almost 37% of total recruiters, followed by IT (27%), Consulting (7%), FMCG (4%), etc. Star recruiters are deloitte, Accenture, HDFC Life, Viacom 18, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Nomura, etc. Summer internships also have partial placements., with the highest stipend being around 50000 Rs per month.

Life at SIMS

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement in 3rd semester. The placement rate is 95 percent and most of the top companies visited the campus for different job roles. The average package is stood at 10.56 lakhs and the highest Salary offered is 24 lakhs I want to become a consultant after my course.

Placement Experience:

The placement facility was good. We also had internship placement after the first year. Lot of companies came on campus viz. Deloitte, Infosys, Gartner, HSBC, Taj, etc. to name a few. The average package was around 6-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

SIMS has an outstanding placement record. In 2018, 225 students were placed in just 18 days. 92.8% placement was done in just 30 days. Highest CTC was 16.3 LPA. The top 150 students got an average CTC of 10.16 LPA. Live projects were offered by Travel Google, Bajaj Finance, etc. Star Companies on campus- Google, Deloitte, Piramal Realty, Deutsche Bank, EY, KPMG, and currently Namora, Credit Suisse & many more have joined SIMS recruitment list.

I am from defense background, and this college is the best example of PPP. It is one amongst the few top B schools in India and best college from the perspective of ROI. It is an old and well established institutes under the Symbiosis International University and hence give an exposure to diversity as well.
