Remarks
We only have a quota for defense employees at our college, with an 80 percent reserve. The majority of the pupils come from a military background. The admissions procedure went without a hitch. Before the start of the class, we had counseling. You have to have a bachelors' from a recognized board along with a minimum 50 percentile in the SNAP exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
In comparison to students in the general group, fees were lower for students with a military background. The difference was almost 6-7 lakhs. Exams are scheduled for the 6 trimesters. We get homework at the end of the month in addition to quizzes. The overall online examination process is smooth, and the difficulty level is above average. Faculty guides are well versed with the course and very professional.
Internships Opportunities
All students are also promised summer internships. The key industries from which corporations come include staffing (HR), financial institutions, power sector, consultancy, real estate, hotel, pharma, IT, FMCG, and BFSI. The highest stipend is Rs 85,000-1 lakh, whereas the average stipend is Rs 40,000-45,000.
Placement Experience
SIMS' placement cell is quite active. They make certain that every student is placed. The average CTC is Rs 10,00,000 per year, with the greatest CTC's reaching Rs 20+ lakhs per year. Some of the primary industries that top corporations recruit include IT, retail, ed-tech, banking, FMCG, Cloud solutions, and so on.
Fees and Financial Aid
MBA costs more than ten lakhs in most parts of the nation. However, it is lower for IITs. Fees in symbiosis colleges and branches are typically similar, however at SIMS, we have a defense quota, therefore our fees are lower. ROI is decent considering placements are of around 8-10 lakhs per year.
Campus Life
There are 13 clubs and committees founded here, all of which are elected by students for the benefit of the students. There is excellent news for sports fans: we have a large green field for cricket, football, basketball, and other games. There is a literary club, alumni club, economics cell, finance cell, HR club, etc.
Interview Experience
There was a WAT and PI round. WAT time is 20 minutes. The topic is based on current affairs and GK. PI questions are about your personality, your academic background and also some based on the economy.
