Admission for MBA is on the basis of the SNAP entrance examination followed by GE-PIWAT which stands for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).
How to apply?
Candidates applying for the MBA programme need to pay an application fee of Rs 3,250 (Rs 2,250 for SNAP and Rs 1,000 for SIBM registration). Candidates first need to register for the SNAP exam, followed by the MBA course.

SIBM Hyderabad Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students and deserving students by the Symbiosis Society Foundation. The Other scholarships are given below:
- Jayatee Deshmukh PG Scholarship for a Girl Student: Given to a girl student for scoring highest marks in SNAP. The scholarship amount of INR 75,000/- would be given to the institute where the student is admitted and the scholarship amount would be adjusted against the first installment of fee.
- PG Merit Scholarship: The scholarship awards 50% of the academic fee to toppers with a minimum GPA of 7.5.
- NER Scholarship for the students from the North-East Region (NER): Eligible students will receive a full waiver of the academic fees for the entire duration of the programme. The applicant should have appeared for SET/ SNAP or any other SIU entrance examination. The total number of scholarships is 10 out of which 2 will be offered at PG Level and 8 will be offered at UG Level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teacher student ratio of SIBM Hyderabad is also a plus as there is 1 teacher for every 8 students. The overall experience on campus has been fantastic, not only in terms of academics but also in terms of various clubs and committees that provide students with valuable experience prior to entering the corporate world. The curriculum is updated every year, as the corporate world changes on a daily basis., and there are numerous improvements in the workplace. The case basis of teaching in SIBM H provides students with the required practical knowledge as the case forces a student to think, assess and provide solutions for a particular case.

It is mandatory to take the Snap test in order to take admission at Sibm-H. One needs to register for Snap Test and also register for the institutes offering his/her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, they would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by the institute. I had given Snap, Cat, Cmat, Nmat, while preparing for the entrance exams. The admission process was very smooth and all the processes were finished on time.

You can go to Symbiosis International Website and find the application link for the test, and apply for this institute, passing whose cutoff you are allowed for the Interview Rounds, and you are selected if you pass these rounds as well. To get into any symbiosis Institute one needs to write and qualify for the snap exam. The snap pattern has changed over the past 2 years. Anyone who has done their undergraduate in any specialization is eligible to write the snap exam. The snap exam pattern for this year(2021) is like last year. The exam consists of 60 questions to be answered in 60 mins. Post the exam the SIU(Symbiosis International University) releases the cut-off and based on that various Symbiosis colleges call students for their GEPI WAT process. The exam will be held on 3 dates this time( 19 Dec 2021, Jan 8 2022, Jan 16 2022). The application is found on the SNAP official website and the fee per exam is 1950/-. Based on your preference you can apply to various symbiosis colleges by paying a fee of Rs. 1000/-.

The admission is based on snap score and gd-pi +personal interview. The minimum percentile is 60 and mostly freshers are found in this college. Applicants who have completed their qualifying degree from a Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
