No, I did not opt for any hostel accommodation. I used to go from my house. It was close to my house at walkable distance and I used to take approximately 15 minutes to reach my college. I am not aware if there was any hostel accommodation at that time.
The college doesn't offer hostels. However the college is located in a very good locality. So there is plenty of choices in terms of PG, Rented house, etc. PG rate is around Rs. 20, 000 and Rental rate is around Rs. 35, 000 for 1 bhk. All the facilities are nearby.
There is no facility of hostels in my college and I have not opted for for hostels. Although around my college there are various PG's and rented apartments. These vary from 3 to 4 basis sharing. As the area is well developed the flats and pgs are in good conditions. the rental charges vary from flat to flat and pg to pg.
3/5 because they provide best facililty but they in terms of place. The college campus is soo small that it cannot hold more than 200 students. In terms of cleanines they provide good hygience. But now they don't have their personal ground for students.
No Hostel facility provided by the institute, but a good rent rooms available nearby vicinity of the college premises. Average PG rents available outside college will account to around 3-4 sharing of total 10,000/- Rs. So per person will be affordable.
Unfortunately, SIES does not provide hostel facilities. However, there are a few students who stay from the college, have thus, rented apartments and are sharing the same by paying a rent of about 3,000-4,000 individually, depending on their exact location. Also, SIES does not provide a MESS facility, but there is a canteen for the rescue, however, let me warn you, it isn't much of a rescue after all, as the food is not very delicious, and the current food caterer isn't too generous with the quantity and they ask too much from students when it comes to paying, also, non-veg lovers, since this college is inclusive of a temple, the canteen serves only vegetarian food, There is also a cafeteria by the Engineering college, which relatively serves better food with nice Iced tea, coffee, maggi and burgers.
No hostel system but we did have a canteen and a Nestle counter that serves cold coffee, frappe, iced tea and hot beverages along with maggi. Canteen also served a variety of food like Chinese, north Indian, south Indian etc and snacks like poha, bada pao, samosa etc. which was delicious, fresh and not too greasy. However, the canteen was in the basement which made it poorly lit and dim and at times the canteen seemed to.lack cleanliness. The chairs and tables were plastic ones and overall the canteen was a bit smaller compared to the crowd that comes in. The canteen was also noisy but the staff handling the counters were good and kind. This is however the state it was in 2012 so I am not sure if the premise was renovated after I graduated.
I did not opt for hostel faculties & not aware of hostel there was a small & only canteen in our college. Food item list was limited. Perhabs, the quality of the food was good so the waiting time & crowd at canteen was worth the wait. Food prices were not expensive. During 2008 about 6 rupees for Tea, 20 rupees for Fried rice.
We don't have hostel facilities. Paying guest facilities are also rare. You can find rooms on rent nearby. The rent varies though. You can share the rented room with friends or you can find a room already having girls/boys staying. I have a friend who stays in an apartment on rent with a bunch of other girls. They share the rent. She alone pays around 5000 per month. They have an the facilities including kitchen, different cupboards, that apartment Is basically designed like a hostel room.
Theres no hostel facility provided to engineering student by the college. The food from the canteen is good with the only drawback is that its a pure vegetarian vendor. I had been staying in a rented apartment near the college it self, The rent ranges from around 10k to 20k for a 1bhk apartment. In mycase it was 15k for a furnished 1bhk apartment back in 2014, we had 3 people staying together. Finding room mates is not an Issue in Nerul, as it is the hub of education in Navi Mumbai, there are many colleges around the area, so people to share an apartment with is easy to find.
