SIES GST B.E. Eligibility & Selection Criteria
SIES GST provides a 4-year B.E. program in full-time mode across 7 different specializations. The eligibility and selection criteria for admissions are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 Level Examination with at least 45% Marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for general category students.
- A relaxation of 5% is provided to the students of SC/ST background.
- For admission selection, students are required to pass the JEE Main or MHT CET examination with the required rank of the institute.
- These exams are conducted by the CET Cell for state-level exams and by the Central government for the JEE examination.
- The registered candidates can apply for admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds conducted by the DTE/ Admission regulating authority.
- A merit list is published on the website. The list contains information on the relative positions of the candidates, like rank, but doesn’t confirm their admission.
- Category-wise seats shall be made available for the candidates for each institute at the official website.
- Candidates can fill in their choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of preference.
- Candidate has to confirm his/her choice through their login. Once confirmed, they shall be considered for allotment in the respective CAP Rounds.
- Allotment will be done according to the cutoff set for the courses of the program.
- If allotted to the desired course, the candidate shall then report to the Admission Reporting Centre for verification of documents and payment of the seat acceptance fee.
- Thereafter, such candidates shall report to the allotted institute and seek admission on the allotted seat.

SIES GST M.E. Admission 2025
SIES GST offers a 2-year M.E. program in various specializations in full-time mode. The eligibility criteria and selection criteria are as follows:
- M.E. is available in AI & Data Science and IT.
- Students must have a graduation degree in Engineering/Science with 50% Marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
- Those who are in the final year of such programs are also eligible.
- A Valid GATE score is considered for admission to M.Tech programs.
- Shortlisted candidates are then examined based on the counseling round.
- Students will have to apply through the official website of the Maharashtra DTE for the GATE exams. The applicants must register first to create a new registration using a unique email ID.
- Students need to enter their GATE score and their details.
