- Library: The college has a huge library to help the students gain knowledge about various aspects of their subjects. It has a wide collection of books, journals, reference books, magazines, data sheets, audio video materials etc. Three are two reading rooms for students and one for faculties and staff. It is spread across an area of 4000 sq. ft. The library has a separate multimedia centre and reprographic centre.
- Laboratories: The college provides well equipped laboratories for Advanced Computing, Multimedia, Graphics, Data Base, Software Engineering, Electrical Machine Labs etc to impart practical training and knowledge to the students.

- There was a good focus on practical learning since most of the practicals were computer-based.
- Hexaware, XL Dynamics, and many more companies came. The general stipend was almost 2.5 Lakhs. The placement was not that great but can be improved. The teaching by faculty is also good.
Dislikes
- The course was revised by Mumbai University in 2003, but the college infrastructure was too poor to implement it.
- Indira Gandhi CoE does not provide internships and hardly any companies visit for campus interviews.

I took admission to Smt. Indira Gandhi college of engineering through CET marks i.e an entrance exam. My score on Common Entrance Test (CET) was 58.26 percentile. Though it was less I got my name on the last list and in fact, my name was last in the list. So the cutoff of 2021 is 58.26 for boys in the open category in CSE(IOT AND CYBERSECURITY INCLUDING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY)

The entire admission process was online. You must qualify CET or JEE entrance exam to apply for admission to this college. Each branch has a different cut-off. The maximum cut-off is for Computer Engineering Branch. The complete admission process is online and one can easily take admission to this college.

I applied for KJ somaiya, VJTI, DY Patil, and many other colleges but I couldn't get a seat in them. Finally, I got a seat in this college for electrical engineering. The admission criteria for my college were 95+ in CET and 50+ in Jee main with a minimum age of 17. The admission process was very convenient and staff very supportive and kind.

If you are coming under Economically Weaker Section , then you can apply for the scholarship called as EBC (Economically Backward Class), due to these you can avail scholarship.

I applied for Datta Meghe, Terena, Thakur college of engineering. Being from an open cast I didn't have any quota for admission. The admission criteria were very simple as I easily had the required marks for getting admission in this college, I had 89 percentile in MH-CET and76 percentile in JEE mains. After my seat was allotted I just needed to lock the seat and pay the amount to the college within a required date.

The admission process at this college is merit system after Diploma in engineering INSTRUMENTATION through the directorate of technical education, Maharashtra. you can get admission to the direct second year after completing the diploma, otherwise, you can get admission as per the regular process online. I have availed freeship for admission. where I need to pay the fee at the time of admission and then every year I need to submit a freeship form. there was not such a counselling day concept. Teachers are genuine but the management of the college is not that much up to the mark as per my experience.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Electrical engineering because it's core branch of engineering. Electrical engineering is one of the best branch for study engineering. Student ratio for practical is 20:1. Qualification of faculty are extremely good, much experienced staff. More than 5 to 10 years almost every faculty teachers. Teaching is very much easy to understand and evaluate things. Term exams are well planned and organized timely. The lecture are understandable so not difficult to pass the exam.

It's good. The academic are being Carried good by the teachers. The facilities provided by the college is good the practicals are good. But this year due to corona it's not possible to go to college. But I love doing practicals
