Mess food for lunch and dinner is something i dont like.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum for Mechanical is very good. If you want to study in a core branch, then do not take any other college other than RV. RV is the best in terms of any core branch. Mechanical is the most chill branch in the college. Faculty is good and well qualified they also very supportive towards students. Exams and tests are conduct on time for preparation of the semester exams

Class Size : 71Course Fees : INR 237000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

You need to apply for internships during holidays at the official college portal. Other than that there are lots of people who come and conduct workshops and meet ups on a regular basis in the campus.

Placement Experience :

Core placements are lower than IT. But since it is RV, core companies do come to hire. Probably RV is the only college to have actually hood placements in core. For CS related placements, obviously you'll have plenty of opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have a tie up with many automobile companies such as Mercedes Benz and Toyota. So those looking for core jobs have lots of opportunity, provided you work smartly and grab them. Scholarship is mainly for guys coming from KCET examination.

Campus Life :

There are plenty of clubs you can take part in. Whether it is Cultural or Technical. Try choosing one technical club at least. E-summit and 8th mile both of them are conducted at RV and yes, they are the biggest college fests of Karnataka. Infrastructure is still being renovated but well maintained overall. The Mechanical block will be renovated this year.

Hostel Facilities :

The only problem in the hostel are the bathrooms. The shower heads need to be fixed. I don't know when they will fix it. The mess food is great during breakfast. But lunch and dinner needs to be adjusted.

Hostel Fee : INR 123000 per year

Admission :

The entrance exam for RV is COMEDK-UGET. To opt for my branch, that is Mechanical, you need a minimum rank of 7000 to 7500. For CS related branches, the cutoff is very high because RV is the best college you cam get through COMEDK. The CSE core branches had been closed by around 700 rank.

A good college for only study

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough for IT fields and you will get a decent amount of package. But if you want core placements we may get a few companies with few jobs so you should be competitive enough to crack these. Last year our college got the highest package of 52LPA. An average package is around 7.5 LPA.

Remarks:

there are no raging so you fill free and no one distribute you while you are studying. normally in our hostel 6-8 pm is a study time then 8'o clock dinner is started after you finish your dinner you can go for roaming in our college campus. after 9'o clock hostel get will be close so all student have to come to hostel on time and again 10'o clock study time start.
