In terms of course relevance as per your stream it should be improved rather than a same bookish syllabus it should be improved more in terms of practical and real problem solving such that students dont need to husstle later externally for getting the practical knowledge

Like all the other engineering courses the curriculum is a bit irrelevant but the lab here are good and provide you all the facilities, the curriculum is placement oriented they prefer coding over core concepts

The curriculum is according to the latest developments in the technological field to keep students up to date. The exams are conducted twice- mid sems and end sems. It is easy to score if you pay attention in class or refer to the notes provided

Course is kind of old and needs to be revised. A lot of things are still taught which are not relevant anymore. Exams are conducted 2 times in a semester. First one (mid semester exams) after 2.5 months and then after 2.5 months (end semester exams) and if student has prepared thoroughly, scoring in exams is not very difficult.

I wanted to learn more about electronics and not excatly wanted to go for CSE or IT so I took ECE. Curriculum prepared us well for the real world and for Post graduation too. It gave equal weightage to theory and practical part.

The course curriculum offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical depth and practical applicability. Chosen for its industry relevance and interdisciplinary approach. The faculty boasts a ratio of 1:12 ensuring personalized attention. Professors hold advanced degrees with extensive industry experience, employing interactive teaching methods. Term exams were punctual, challenging yet fair, encouraging critical thinking. Passing wasn't overly difficult with dedicated preparation. Overall, the course structure, faculty expertise, and evaluation system foster a rewarding learning environment.
Choosing ECE at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology signifies a personal interest in electronics and communication. The faculty-to-student ratio, available in the prospectus, ensures personalized attention. Faculty qualifications vary but often include advanced degrees and industry experience. Reviews on teaching methods may be found through student testimonials or open houses. Term exam timeliness depends on the academic calendar, and the difficulty of passing is subjective and can be improved through collaborative study strategies.

I Am A Tech Enthusiast So I Wanted To Pursue Computer Science Engineering. Based On My Rank I Got Into Msit. The Student-Faculty Ratio Is Quite Good. There Is 1 Teacher For Every Six Students, You Can Estimate A Ratio Of 6:1.All Teachers Of Msit Are Highly Qualified. The Teachers Are Polite And Well-Spoken Of. There Are Both Female And Male Professors In Msit. A Semester Is Off 4 Months On An Average, Mid-Term Examinations Are Held After Two Months Of Starting Off The Semester And End Term Examinations Are Held 2 Months After The Mid-Term Examination. Mid-Term Examinations Are Very Easy To Pass While End Term Are Medium To Pass As They Cover More Syllabus "
Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) both are private engineering colleges in New Delhi affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). There is not much of a difference between them in terms of the syllabus of the branches.
Here are some of the things that you should know about the two courses.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE):
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE):

Choose a branch according to your strengths and passion. In terms of college, both are almost equal and branches should be the differentiator rather than the college.
First of all, both the branches differ a lot from each other. Thus, you need to understand which branch you are inclined to. Also, keep in mind that you can change your field from ECE to CSE but not vice versa. So, choosing CSE can get you an advantage in many ways. My friend is currently studying CSE in MSIT and here’s what his experience says.
Dedicated faculty: Most teachers are well experienced and really enjoy what they teach you. If you have even smallest of the doubts, do not hesitate as they will assist you whenever you need them. Especially in the CSE department, teachers are really cooperative.
Infrastructure: If you visit both MSIT and MAIT, you will find that MAIT has a tad bit better infrastructure.
Location: MSIT definitely has a location advantage as you can find various hangout spots around the institute and even the nearest metro of Janakpuri East is just 5 minutes away. On the other hand, MAIT lacks proximity to metro and hangout spots.
Placements: While both the colleges have great placements, the CSE branch will get you better packages and increased opportunities, like any other college In India.
According to the recent placement data the highest and average CTC offered at MSIT is 47 LPA and 3.6 LPA. For MAIT the average and highest CTC is 3 LPA and 28 LPA.
All in all, both MAIT and MSIT are reputed private colleges of Delhi. The biggest thing that makes the difference here is the branch you choose. No doubt CSE has an upper hand over ECE as mentioned above.
One of my cousins studied at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and he never bought a single book for any branch.
You will get free access to all the books from the book bank. You will also get personal textbooks each semester as soon as you get your college IDs. There is an online portal available that helps in getting ideas about the books available in the book bank.
You will be required to pay for the book bank that has already been added to the college fee in the first year.
There is a book store outside of MSIT where students can buy books of Bhavya Publications which are easy to read and understand and written in simple language. It helps in scoring good marks in IPU.
