I choosed this course because i am interested in construction and wanted to learn how the skyscrapers, large bridges and other engineering marvels like the chenab bridges are built especially the structural engineering part of it. Also the scope in government sector is great there are lot of job opportunities. Our curriculum included regular workshops, site visits to nearby sites and interships were must during 2nd and 3rd year summer break. I did my internships from Central Public Works Department in 2nd year and from IRCON international in third year which was a great experience and helped me to learn a lot of practical aspect of construction sector and also given me edge over others in placements. The areas that can be improved in our course is that the labs are needed to be improved new machines are required to give a better practical understanding of concepts within department. The exams are held 3 times each semester 2 mid terms and 1 end semester difficulty is normal.

As a Mechanical Engineering student I personally feel the college provides enough resources to learn and execute everything taught in class and the college also provides auto Cad, NX, SOLIDWORKS, etc. The college also provides Design tech facilities which is very beneficial for mechanical and electrical engineering students. College curriculum prepares you for real-world by providing modern lab equipment but on the other hand, some of the equipment is not working properly and some of the equipment is not in the condition of working. BIT Sindri takes 2 mid-term and 1 end sem examination.

The course is interesting and has a lot of scope in India and outside. The college professors prepare you for outside worlds by not agreeing to you and troubling toh for the documents. The course could definitely be more practical application and oriented and we could learn one or more softwares in the course and not only theory.

I am from the Chemical Engineering stream. The diverse career opportunities in chemical engineering influenced me to make this decision. Chemical engineers work in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, environment protection, etc. Chemical engineers often find their skills in high demand which helps them to land a well-paying job. Chemical Enginners play a crucial role in sustainable processes and technologies. The teaching method of professors is also good they provide gate level knowledge.

We all have heard from people that engineers like to solve problems and don't give up so easily without solving the problem. They like to take risk in life. All these things about engineers motivativate me to take this course and I really enjoyed this course because it is totally based on our daily use. In engineering we study about the application of machines and the things which we use on the regular basis. Now be an engineering students I would definitely suggest you to do this course because it teaches you to do hardwork, keep patience in yourself and how to manage your work and also how to complete your work in a limited time without any mistake. The phone which we are using, the grinder, the telivision, the computer or the laptop and many more things which we used on the regular basis is designed by engineers. The shopping which we are doing by clicking on our phone all these is possible only because of the engineers .

The curriculum is based to make students an able engineers and so the pattern is good overall. By the study of engineering student gains a practical approach to solve all problems in their life and so this curriculum prepare the student for real world problems. Course needs to be more practical rather than theoretical. Exam timing and frequency is also good as it is semester wise.

The current course currciculum is according to the NEP 2021, and it is far different from the course curriculum which was taught earlier. The older version of the syllabus had basic subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Maths in the first semester but the new syllabus has a total of 8 subjects in the first semester including History and some branch related core subjects. So the new currciculum has tried to indulge more and more topics into the course providing the broader knowledge from the spectrum. Although it is great to have a wider knowledge of the subjects but at the same time we should also be focusing more on branch related topics which the curriclum lacks somewhere. The currciculum like other colleges do not actually prepare us for the real world problems. The topics included in the syllabus are far from industry point of view and do not hold any specific relevance to the world. Although the course structure is easy to understand one can easily score good CGPA.

The Btech course at BIT sindri is highly renowned in the state of Jharkhand as the availablity of High-tech laboratories, workshops and IT centre makes it outstand the crowd. Even the core branches offer a good placement. The course can be improved further by adding some Research and Development program into it so that furthermore studies can be carried out. However the exams here are very periodic and easy to take.
The fees of BIT, Sindri, are very economical as compared to other colleges. Even the college provides a 100% fee waiver based on the merits. This esteemed institution in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, offers quality education in engineering and technology without imposing exorbitant fees on students. This affordability has made it an attractive choice for many aspiring engineers, helping them access excellent education without financial burden.
