The faculty to student ratio is normal. We have around 20 faculty members in our civil engineering department. The faculties are divided into 3 designations:- 1. Professor :- Highly experienced. Middle aged or old faculty member. Mostly PHDs from top 5 IITs. 2. Associate Professor :- Relatively low experienced than professors. Middle aged. Also PHDs from top 5 IITs. 3. Assistant Professor :- Low Experienced young Professors . Currently pursuing or just completed PHD from top 5 IITs. The professors are easy to interact with. I mostly interacted with them everyday. Some associate and assistant professors act like our seniors. Most of them are really helpful and genuinely care for their students ( except few who just think they are doing their government jobs). During the work hours i.e. 9 am to 5 pm Professors are either giving lectures or is present in their respective chambers you can interact with them easily.

The faculty-to-student ratio is like 1:20, there are 1 professor for 20 students. Not all faculty member have good teaching skills and communication but they have a good grip on their subjects and they have practical knowledge of those subjects. Students can interact with teachers any time they want during working hours, All of the professors are quite approachable and friendly in nature.

The faculty-to-student ratio is good here like in my branch we are 113 and accordingly 7 professors are allocated every semester. The professors are highly qualified and they have good knowledge of the subject. They are very supportive likre they help students to prepare for GATE examination and for further studies. We regularly interact with professors. From Monday to Saturday, we have daily classes in both halves which helps us to clear our doubts and learn more. Every department has its library where we can study.

The faculty to students ratio is 10:1 in our college and they treat their students like their own children. Students are free to ask any query to their professor any time and their is no time limit for that. Professor are always ready to help their students , and they support us mentally and emotionally in every situation. They trained us to face the society, they not only provide academic excellence but also support in extra curriculum activity which is very good to maintain the focused in studies. They are our mentor as well as supporter.

Faculty members are well experienced and highly knowledgeable. They teach through practical examples and in a very easy to understand way. The faculty to student ratio is also good. We can interact with the faculties any time in the college campus and can discuss about anything we want to know. They are also very open minded and cooperative.

BIT Sindri has an excellent team of faculties. All the faculties are well qualified with most of them getting their research degrees from top IITs/NITs. Their approach of teaching is also easy to understand and always comes with deep insights of the topics. We have a healthy teacher- student interaction here in our college. The professors openly invite us to clear doubts whenever possible. The learning experience in acadmeics is really great here at BIT Sindri. The only thing this college lacks in terms of professors is the faculty - to - student ratio. The number of professors currently teaching is quite less than what it should have been. This often results in meging of various branches during a common lecture. This scarcity also reflects in labs where we do not have proper amount of lab attendents which also effects our lab experience. Therefore, we do have a able team of professors but looking at the growing strength of students the number of professors have to be increased.
