Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology often referred to as MIT, is a government higher education institution administered by the Department of Science & Technology and funded by the Bihar Government. MIT Muzzfarpur Admissions
Admissions for the UG programs at MIT are through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by BCECE Board.
Admission to M.Tech courses is on the basis of GATE scores. Post Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (PGEAC) is conducted to get seats. Candidates can register for the counseling procedure through the BCECE Board website. The documents required include:

- Rank Card of PGEAC- 2020.
- Passing Certificate of B.Tech / BE as well as matric
- Six passport size photograph

MIT Muzaffarpur Placements
Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology popularly known as MIT has conducted its placement drive on 17th February, 2021 for the B-Tech final year students.

- Library: The Library of MIT has a large collection of books related to different streams of Engineering. It is well organized and contains more than 1000 Textbooks and Reference Books.
- Hostel: There are a total of 7 Hostels. They are very well maintained and are augmented with modern facilities such as telephone, television, common room, ward servant, in-house game room, and canteens. For 1st and 2nd-year students, multi seated rooms are available and for Final and Pre-Final students, single-seated rooms are available. There is also one welfare hostel, reserved for SC and ST students.
- Computer Centre: MIT has a well equipped centralized computer center. At present, 150 computers are connected through a LAN, which provides internet access to students and faculty.
- Sports: Many sports events are organized by the college. Major sports played are cricket, lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball, football, and indoor games.
- Others: MOXIE and JUNOON clubs, wifi enabled campus, etc.

I have cleared jee mains and the college which i get is my first preference and i got it in first round councelling. And some other colleges were BCE Bhagalpur and Motihari college of engineering where i applied. But i got my first preference. And i didn't get any rejection from any college .

- I love MIT. I got more learning there practical as well as professional. I got to learn more with analysing things. College provide you a platform to cast yourself through participating in multiple events and volunteering in clubs.
Dislikes
- Campus Life will be more beautiful and healthy if campus will be addiction free. Students should be monitored and counselling should be done on regular basis.
- As MIT is Engg college under Bihar Govt, so Infrastructure should be well balanced and attractive, because there's no issue of funding and implementing. I can see, it's now improving day by day. But still, faster resolution is required in the hostel
Admission:
No I haven't applied for any other colleges than MIT. My only preference was MIT Muzaffarpur. I have to do Engineering from Govt college, so I got to know about this college under Bihar Govt and was excited to join in. There's a common exam namely JEE Mains. Counselling to different colleges and branches depends on the score of JEE Mains. Once you cross the cutoff of JEE Mains, you're eligible to apply for BCECE Engineering counselling processes to get admission in Bihar Engg colleges. You've to prepare PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHS well to compete in the examination.

- The on campus placement is quite mediocre and can be improved
- The hostel infrastructure is quite old and not well maintained

For the admission the students should have scored 90+ percentile in jee mains but for demanding branches like cs and it goes over 92 percentile.for the admission process the students have to take part in ugeac counseling the overall process is quite long and some times gets delayed.

- Overall management staff and behaviour of clerks are not friendly.

Admission in MIT is based upon the rank in JEE mains examination after the JEE mains examination you have to fill ugeac form for counselling in Bihar engineering colleges. If you want admission in MIT then you will be given a UR RANK AND A CATEGORY RANK IN UGEAC . IF YOU SCORED 91+ PERCENTILE IN JEE MAIN THEN YOUR RANK IN UGEAC WILL BE UNDER 500. IN UNDER 500 UGEAC RANK YOU CAN GET MIT

- Ragging is also happening, which effects relation with senior -junior.
- Hostel food is not affordable ,& 1-2 days in a week worst food provides.
Admission:
Admission is happening by jee mains score and then apply for Bihar state rank . And U should have less than 800 rank in Bihar. Application form for Bihar rank available on BCECE portal. Reservation is same as centre rule of reservation for admission. Exam is on Timming,smooth and fair

The admission is done on the jee mains rank and application form available on bcece site. After applying the admission form a new rank made based on jee then in the three round admission process will be conducted then if there will be space left then the final round conducted.

Admission is done through jee main percentile then a separate counselling process(ugeac) is being conducted for Admission process. Students who secured 87+ percentile can get admission in Mechanical engineering.

- Biometric attendance is compulsory .we need 75 percentage attendance compulsory.
- No any drinking water facility is available in the campus for students or other person.

For Eligiblity Student must passed 12th/ Intermediate from a recognised University and they should pass Jee Mains exam,After that they will be fill BCECE UGEAC form for taking admission in this college. Application fee is about 700 rupees. Candidates should be from Bihar itself. There is a cut off for particular category of the students. Exam is occurring once in a year. Area of improvement that it should give that students cannot change their branch even they get once decided It should be changed according to point achieved in 1st semester.

Those students who have passed 12th with science stream ( math physics chemistry is compulsory) are eligible for admission. For admission first you must write the joint entrance examination Mains then bcece is released a form where your bcece rank is provided with the bcece rank you can participate in counseling conducted by also bcece board . Application free was around 1400 all required documents will notify by official website bcece . Very low reservation benefits for boys but for girl 33% seat will reserved If you want this then prepared for jee seriously and qualify with a good percentile ( around 85- 90+ percentile
