Insight into my college life

Likes

Events at our college be it cultural or any other type.

Dislikes

Teaching methods opted by teachers can be improved
Campus should be renovated as the environment is not healthy, dust and pollution everywhere
Classes should be renovated also hostels should provide us with inverters as during exam we face a lot of problems

Placement Experience:

I thinks students become eligible for placement from 5th semester. Average package can be something around 5 to 6 lakh. Once one of my seniors got placed in Numaligarh refinery limited for a whooping amount of 24 lakh per year

The Campus is very very much beautiful annnjdh
Surrounded by deepor beel and mountain and skies
Aec hospital is inside the campus along with doctor

Dislikes

The most dislike is thw the open campus which ousiders come inside
Roads are not good in campus along with the potholes

college is very good. college gives us opportunity to implement our thought.
our campus is good , people lived there is humble and help us .
professor are good , help us to give us best learning method.

Dislikes

the college established in 1955 and budling is old now
placement need to be improved. they provide best but due to current govt scheme companies higher less as previous year.
the syllabus may improved . we get less time to complete the semester.

my decision is simple as i planed i have choice this course. our curriculum helps to think how to implement the basic knowldge , basic is the foundation to bulid the strong piller. we need to improve to pratically applied the thing , timing of exam due to covid is awful the university to maintian their yearly schedue have finished course in 3 months.

CAMPUS IS OVERALL GOOD AND GREENERY SURROUNDING WHICH MAKES THE CAMPUS MESMERISING AS IT IS IN THE ABODE OF DEEPOR BEEL .
STUDENT COUNCIL BODY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY COOPERATIVE.IT EMBARKS ONE OF THE BIGGEST FEST IN NORTH EAST INDIA WHICH IS PYROKINESIS .
THE PLACEMENTS AS 2nd tier college is good .It is Government college rated after IITG AND NIT SILCHAR IN ASSAM .

Dislikes

CANTEEN FOOD IS NOT BAD BUT NOT THAT GOOD .THE BUS PROVIDED FOR DAY SCHOLARS ARE LIMITED

Assam Engineering College have good environment. Assam Engineering College is the oldest college in northeast India. The college is great with the beautiful mountain and laake.
Every college faculties are polite and very coperate in nature. As fresher there is no condition in the campus. Experience teaching staff make our every course related topic easier. They give assignment take class test and complete our course
In the Assam Engineering College, every course related practical done by students which is help for our technical vision.

Dislikes

Classroom is not in good condition. Seat also are not comfortable.
In the hostel for freshers is tough for some days . They will not do their own till fresher party. But everything come normal day by day

Placement Experience:

Highest placement in our college is 2400000 rupees from chemical engineering. And avarage package is 100000 rupees. If a student can't found a job they can give Gate exam and take admission in IITs or take a job in PSUs

Its provides better education than other stater engineering college
The annual cultural fest organised by the student is also very famous in enitre assam
It provides excellent sports facilities . Th teacher are also very good

Dislikes

The authority need the make the campus close at first
The machine and labs are need to improve so student can get better benifits
The field and the gym need to be upgraded so everyone can utilise it

Northeast first engineering college . So it provides better education
It's very active culturally . AEC organise a cultural fest every year
The teachers are very brilliant as compared to the other state engineering college

Firstly the authority need to make the campus close

The faculty is very good , the lab is up to the mark . Thus the overall academic is nice
The extra curriculum like club activities are very enjoyable as well as beneficial.
The seminars and other interactions met up are very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is according to AICTE standards. The teaching should be more realistic and with great clarity. The paper difficulty level is a bit where it does not match with the classroom teaching. Further marking according to me is a bit stricter. The exams are held on time.

It has minimal fees, professors are supportive, nature friendly campus, it's tech fest is awesome,
Hostel fees also less as compared to other college, no such academic pressure which will help the students to pursue the other activities as well.
Produced many alumnus who are working across the world in many innovative as well as respected field, strong alumnus network

Dislikes

Open campus due to which there happened some of very terrible event
Mess food is not good enough, hostel is also at a distance of almost 2km , don't have proper road facility
Scope of innovation is very less, hostel authority is not providing the basic facility to the students like chair, table, bed. There is scope of improvement

Placement Experience:

From fourth year one get into the campus placement but from second year one can apply for internship program. In previous year many psu like iocl, ongc ,nrl etc used to visit for the core branches but after the covid they used to recruit through the gate score so scope of high paying job is less but still one can get package of around 12lac through campus placement as many companies like Vedanta, dalmia cement, Infosys used to visit the campus. Placement percentage is 60 to 70 percentage
