The courses we select are very much relevant to what we actually need to know. The first year of all the branches is general, i.e., irrespective of branch but after completing 1st year all the students are core students of their respective branches. Also, there is a facility to change or upgrade the branch of an individual after 1st year considering their academics

Tests and exams are frequent. After a few days, you will have to take a test. The course curriculum involves memorizing the books and modules and reproducing them in exams. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If you have studied the modules and attended classes regularly, you should be able to perform well in the exams. Also, you are compelled to attend the classes to maintain the 75 per cent criteria.

The course is a bit tough however it should be. There are practical classes , assignments and other things. The level of examination is tough . Even the class test are also complicated. And the assignments are bit difficult if you don't pay attention in the class.

Mechanical Engineering branch is said to one of the best branches in AEC further I have my interest in this branch so I choosed this course AEC have highly qualified faculties and faculty to student ratio is decent. Faculties are expert in their own subjects and faculties have received their PhD from reputed institutes Regarding exams class tests were conducted frequently and exams were moderate level

My course is mechanical engineering. I prefer this course becouse this is the top course in this college. Some Faculty are good and some are not so well as compare to others . The faculty are well qualified as this is a government college they need to clear exam.

I choose mechanical Engineering because of opportunities in the government sector specially in assam in oil ,ongc and other PSU's.the faculty to student ratio is 1:4which is good.some teachers are really awesome in their field but some are weak in their practical fields.
As I'm a mechanical engineering student so i can say that the syllabus for the mechanical Engineering students are good. The faculties of our department are also very good and well experienced. In the last year, the students are provided internship program by the department.
Course is updated pretty recently, from 2018. Industrial exposure we get basically via the summer and winter trainings. And every year there is one industrial trip from the department to local industry. Pretty decent. Some of the good faculties are Plabon Kakoti Sir, Ranjit Dutta Sir, Sudip Kumar Deb Sir and Manjuri Hazarika Goswami mam.
The faculties are overall good. Most of them are friendly and have a very good subject knowledge. Most of them are Phds from IITs and reputed institutes. The course syllabus was recently upadted and there is scope of further changes in future.Yes, there is industry exposure.
The fee structure was feasible in our times. H The odd semester fees was about 8000 while the even semester fees was about 3000. Being a govt college, AEC provide education to all classes of students at a low fee structure
