The best thing is that we have college in between bus station and metro station so need to walk for coming college
NCC of Dyal singh college is one of the best NCC among DU colleges.

Likes

The faculty in Dyal Singh College, DU is really good and supportive. Another thing I like is that there are societies for literally everything and no one can be bored.
The campus is huge and there is a lot of place to sit and chill.

Dislikes

There is no regularity and strictness of rules. Attendance is not given a lot of priority, there is no proper discipline. Students take the curriculum very lightly.
Poor infrastructure quality, no AC and poor quality food is served in canteen

Placement Experience:

I am currently at the end of the 1st year so I have not sit for any placement yet. Although I have a rough idea of the average placement being around 4.5 LPA. My plans regarding employability include sitting for campus recruitment /placement drive in the 3rd year for a finance role job.

Good campus best faculty and great social life

Well there are many things that I like those are the faculty and facilities provided by the college
Library is good even if library is full there is an extra space and the auditorium is so good for any function

Dislikes

Drinking water problem, some issue with the time table
A lot of fighting among the students which interrupt the function

Course that we are currently having is too good like this course help us to prepare for UPSC examination as the syllabus is 75 percentage same and it also helps us in CUET PG prep, and our course is best for further studies

Its huge campus and understanding teachers who are eager to help when approached .
When i got admission the food in the canteen was cheaper than now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue a literature course...as I wanted to be a reader...and I knew that in this course I would be bound to read novels and prose...and eventually reading will become my habit....and that happened also. This course allows us to think on a deeper level and to know the raw reality of a certain period...like the culture of society or the myths that prevailed at that time.

It's campus is said to be the largest in south campus of Delhi University
You will get to meet people of all sorts and not just the nerds.

Dislikes

No fest happens in this college and even if it manages to happen it is not worth the time.
College canteen was good and affordable but just saw some reels circulating related to the hygiene conditions

Like any other course this course too has its pros and cons. It is very different from the fictional or non-fictional books you read. One must have an interest for English language as it has no grammar. It's just the language portion that will be taught.

I like the Infrastructure and campus engagement of my college.
The faculty members are very helpful and very well educated from renowned universities.

Dislikes

The college should make a student vehicle parking area if any student wishes to commute by their own vehicle, it gets very difficult to park as there is no student parking in the college.
The students are overburdened with assignments and classtests which leaves them with no time to self study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was based on various subjects which includes: biochemistry, anatomy, ecology, physiology, genetics, molecular biology, and many more. Personally, my experience was good because the scheduled curriculum was upto my expectations pursuing this course. We had theory and practical classes for every subject and the practicals really helped me to gain hands on experience on various biological techniques which helped me further. The teachers are really knowlwgdeable and helpful. The teaching methods are very rare and comprehensive since the teachers try to teach us with practical exposure rather than only focussing on the theoretical portion.

Library along with computer labs were very well equipped with all the facilities.
Infrastructure is very decent in comparison to many other delhi university college.

Dislikes

Classrooms are not very clean with desks being of very low quality.
Teachers are not very skilled or knowledgeable in their subjects.

Placement Experience:

College has a dedicated placements cell of it own. MNCs like Natwest, DE shaw, EY and many others have hired from the college. I too was selected as a Personal banker with Natwest and was offered a package of 3.25 lakh per annum.

Some teachers in faculty are very bad And cut marks
Requirement of minimum attendance in the college.

From first semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements, many companies such as Zomato visited the campus and made offers. Average package student gets is about two lakh to 3,00,000 annually

Campus life is good at dyal singh college seniors are very cooperative

College can spend bit more on painting the wall its been years walls have been painted
College should focus more on placement and internship

Placement Experience:

To be honest I don't know about the placement of other courses but of my course placement are quite decent average package for my course is 5-6 lakh per annum and highest package was more than 10 lakh previous year if you do well in semesters and do internships on regular basis you will definitely get good placement from the college my course also have a scope of doing masters in economics so you can also opt for it after graduation it's a high value course almost 30 percent people take placement from the college

After 3rd year you are eligible for campus placements. Campus placement of our college is so good. Visited companies in dyal singh are Deloitte, Wipro, hdfc Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. You can get average package of 5 LPA and max package of 20LPA. But I want to pursue professional course so I'm studying for it with my college
