Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Dyal Singh College admission criteria, such as:

  • Rank secured in the entrance exam

  • Category of candidates

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

During my application process, CUET was introduced and there were so many confusions at the moment and I think somewhere I didn't fill my preference sheet well. I didn't want Dyal singh for sure, but I think it was written in my fate to be here and I a here now so I am utilising the good parts of the college as much as I can. I applied for SRCC, Hindu, Hansraj, SBSC, Gargi and all the good college but I didn't got admitted in any maybe because of my preferance sheet but my score was 720 so yeah I think I deserved better.

I found the application on the official site of delhi university Sc cut off was 86% and i got 90% so i took admission in Dyal singh college I don't have any such improvement suggestions but yes these cut off's should be made into CUCET

Admission:

I opted for Sri Venkateswara, Kirori Mal, shayam Lal. I got 600/800, i knew what i was looking for i focued on the course rather than focusing on which college i get, as geography is a field pf my interest and it is not available in most of the colleges of Delhi university, only 10 to 11 colleges provide Ba Geography hons, I chose this college because it was one of the top colleges for the expertise of geography and the fees was affordable, also hunge in terms of campus size.

Admission:

I opted for Hamsraj , Ramjas , SGTB , ARSD . I got 518/ 800 so north campus was out of reach but due to not getting the preferred course in ARSD I chose this college because it was one of the top colleges for the expertise of Computer Science. Secondly the fees was affordable and also the college had good placements for honours and is huge in terms of campus size.

In this marks I want best college is this other college of south campus like I want Venky otherwise I want this college because there environment is good there area where this college located is good for student in near Nia office and CBI office and BSF or different government offices are there it is the inspiration we taken from our surrounding peoples walking Air force CRPF for government peoples are walking near our college this give you motivation for a life in a some way you can also prepare for government services civil service exam like UPSC and SSC CGL .
