The best thing is that we have college in between bus station and metro station so need to walk for coming college
NCC of Dyal singh college is one of the best NCC among DU colleges.

Dislikes

Politics of the DU College Very bad every election fight fix

The best part of DLC was that bus stop is attached to college's gate number 2 and therefore we hardly had to walk.
A degree from DSC draws attention to any employer and therefore placements becomes very easy.

Dislikes

Some old white professors should be changed as they still have adopted the ancient way of teaching.

Placement Experience:

KPMG, Jaro, and PWC among many other companies are a part of our placement community and many students were offered jobs my them. I thought was preparing for MBA and after my degree this year, I have joined DR BR Ambedkar University and I am pursuing MBA from there.

I like the diversity in the my collage people from different states are there.
Very friendly environment and supportive classmates.

Dislikes

A set of people from specific communities destroy the vibe.
Placement rate is lower than expected in reality

Placement Experience:

Form semester 1 students are eligible for internships and placements. Our college placement rate is not so high but avg salary revolves around 9 lakhs and highest was around 35 lpa. Top companies like big 4 ey dellotie KPMG and PWC come here to hire people.

The infrastructure of college is well managed with well equipped labs and all facilities . Hygiene in the college is there for students in the campus and also canteen . The food of canteen is affordable and very tasty.
The faculty members and teachers are very supportive and cooperative . The provides us with holistic knowledge and help us at each and every stage through out the course.

Dislikes

Overcrowded classrooms due to high intake of students in the courses.
Delayed in adminstrative processes as in official work .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a theoretical foundation that could do more. The curriculum benefit from better practical training But the course did well in developing critical thinking,writiy skills and theoretical knowledge

Holistic approach to Dyal Singh College- A student's Approach.

Dyal Singh College has a really really big campus.
The connectivity of this college is the best. It has metro station and bus stop at walking distances( less than 50 meters)

Dislikes

The college is famous for its politics. So no need to mention about that.
Students need to wait for atleast 1 week for the time table and teachers after a fresh semester starts.

Placement Experience:

Students usually come in University of Delhi to give some Government exam. Placements are available from 2nd year onwards. I've heard that the maximum package of the college was 35 lakh, and that average is around 3 lakh. Not all students get package, and not all really want a package.

Some good societies like the debating -cognizant which helps you to improve real life skills and make you feel confident
With the implementation of nep you can choose subjects outside of your discipline which increases your range of study

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs huge improvement so does the lecture halls it almost feels like a rusted school room which hasn't been used for years so does the electrical appliances
Need for better sports facilities , the football ground is in shambles it's integrated with pebbles and stones how is the team supposed to train there

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum holistically covers western philosophy and indian philosophy apart from that it increases your critical thinking skills which is relevant in real world. Exams happen every 6 months specifically june- july and December - january It's not too tough tackling these exams even if you haven't studied for the whole year. Areas for improvement would be quality demonstrations of theories, the ability to make students grasp the concept, interactive sessions outside the classroom once in a while , quizzes, debates, development of abstract thinking etc

This college is filled with a lot of political active students

Although it is very good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness because the college has a very rich infrastructure which is built in 50's .the campus is rich in terms of anything.and the course I choose is BA program because a lot of students of this college cracked upsc.so if you are a upsc aspirant you can admire this college in south campus

Our principal is so helpful that he takes immediate actions for the students
Campus is so huge that u can not cover it in one go and the crowd is also good and helpful and dyal singh college is the most political active college in Delhi university

Dislikes

Because of a huge campus it is difficult for the college authorities to maintain the campus.
Being politically active outsiders visit are frequent which frequently disturbs students space in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dyal singh college is a part of Delhi university and in Delhi university we can have the best exposure in studies as well as in extra activities as the diversity is so huge and this made me choose this university and my course. Teachers should not speed up the syllabus because this effects the students a lot. Our exams are of 1 hour 30 min.

The college campus is very large and it's one of the largest campuses in the entire Delhi University.
I also like the football and cricket ground, it's very good.

Dislikes

I don't like the attention paid to the honours courses compared to the BA(Program).
There are some classes that don't have enough ventilation and they certainly need improvement.

This course at Dyal Singh College is very good, it provides you the best environment and you have the knowledge of other subjects apart from you specific domain of interest, you can prepare for it with ease as you have to focus on the NCERTs and go through them and you'll be fine in the exams.

Lab staff is good,very helpfull , supportive
